Dr. Farnaz Farid graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1997 and has been practicing since then. Since she began practicing dentistry, Dr. Farid has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
As the office manager for Harmony dental group my job is to oversee the office operation and I am committed to making our patients and their families experience in our office a positive one. I joined Harmony dental on 04/2020 and have over 10 years of dental experience both front and back office. I love meeting and interacting with all our patients and enjoy watching our patients progress as they come in for treatment.
With a DDS degree from Gilan Dental school in Iran along with a DMD degree from Ukranian Medical stomatological Academy, I am committed to provide the highest level of patient care in our office as a certified dental assistant. I believe that every patient has a unique character that needs a lot of care. My priority is not only taking care of patients dental needs but also building the best relationship with them as a family.
Kimia has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2013, graduating with Honors and as class Vice President. She is very enthusiastic about dental hygiene and is very excited to meet all of our patients and educate them with their own personalized dental needs. Kimia has been known to be very gentle and thrives off the smiles she receives after every hygiene visit throughout the day. Outside of dentistry, you can catch Kimia running around Carlsbad with her dog, spending time with her husband, soaking up the sun at the beach and testing new dinner recipes at home!

Farnaz is the best, no doubt! I've been seeing her for at least 15 years and she's always amazing and fun to be with. She'll treat you more like a family member than just a customer. Her office is constantly keeping up with latest dental technology and innovations. Her experience is superb! She's just a natural perfectionist when it comes to dental work. She'll make sure you have a perfect smile any time you're in her office. Her dental hygienist is awesome and very meticulous. Ok, I am in the process of completing dental implants. I have been very impressed with the outstanding, personalized care up to this point in the dental treatment procedures. The entire staff are very accommodating, professional, knowledgeable and in general, nice people. If the complex treatment plan that the Harmony Dental Group and I have outlined for completion is cosmetically successful, I will be super impressed. I have been treated by probably at least fifteen dentists, give or take a few over the years and I have never experienced a below- average situation with any particular dentist that I can remember and although Harmony Dental Group is obviously the freshest, I would also rate them the best in terms of comprehensive service so far.

Let me start off by saying first of all I wasn't a fan of most dentists due to Trumatic events during my childhood, my first dentist didn't use enough anesthesia at the time during my visits with him, so he and the nurse would with hold me down in the chair, so as a result After that experience I was never was never a big fan of dentists . Later in life had implants installed that failed so I had to have them re-done.. through Facebook I found Harmony Dental Group what a professional and friendly team, they always made me feel very comfortable the moment I walked into the door. What can I say about Dr. Farnaz Farid but just Wow , she was very easy to talk an very patient while explaining the step by step procedures to me, The implant preparation procedure went very well and I am absolutely satisfied customer, being a professional singer I need my enunciation & articulation to be at 100% and now I can happily say that it is with a smile! Dr. Farid is such a motherly dentist and very competent dentist! I had an excellent service with her and she explains well what needs to be done. I follow her advice. The Harmony Dental Group is LIT! GOAT! Dr. Amin is very nice human and accommodating with my dental questions. Their hygienist, Kimia, is very friendly. Berenise was very patient with me on explaining how much would my visit costs and on how much would the insurance can cover! Such a friendly dental team. I will go back. ^_^

Update: It's a good dentistry but I would advise AGAINST doing Invisalign with them. The whole experience has been very frustrating and non-transparent. At first the had me sign the contract telling me insurance will cover part of he treatment but then later turned out they won't. The only reason they got out of their misinformation was because with the new year adult orthodontics was added to my plan. There have been so many delays and their promise of "we'll call you when it's ready" has very little truth to it, they almost never do. I only got to it once I had my 6-month hygienist appointment. And they always tell me different timelines and then do not meet them, seem to forget about me all the time and did not tell me about the "attachments" that go on the teeth so they are basically like braces, not retainers you wear to correct your teeth. First impression: Very nice and personal approach. Of course I needed very expensive treatments, but when I mentioned the possibility of getting them done at home for cheaper, they weren't pushy and said they'd provide the necessary information to share diagnosis. I ended up going with them further, a very nice experience.

I have been going to Dr. Farnaz for a long time now and I could not be any happier with their service. Dr. Farnaz is the nicest and most caring dentist you can get. She answers every question of yours patiently and puts you at complete ease when she is working on your teeth (you almost get a motherly feeling when she is treating you). I have gotten cavities filled, root canals and crowns done with her and she always does excellent work. I would highly recommend Dr. Farnaz to everyone

New to town and needed a new dentist. I took a shot in the dark and tried this place based on its good Yelp reviews. I'm very happy I did! The staff are friendly and efficient, and made sure I was very comfortable both in the waiting room and in the dental chair. All the new patient forms were done on the computer and the whole intake process went seamlessly. Both the hygienist and dentist were very thorough and friendly, and clearly new what they were doing. They took care to ask pertinent questions about my oral hygiene, giving me relevant feedback and suggestions Dr. Farnaz also took the time to explain my dental imaging to me, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

My wife referred me to Dr. Farid. An old crown popped off over the weekend while I was flossing. I called the office Monday at 9am. Instantly made an appointment for that afternoon. Dr. Farid and her staff were friendly and accommodating. She did a quick x-ray and exam to make sure nothing else had broken.The crown was glued back in place during a relatively painfree procedure that only lasted about 10 minutes. Parking validated! Love Harmony Dental.
