Dr. Michio Kubota was born in Nihama, Ehime, Japan and he grew up mostly in Toyota, Japan. He attended Japan's Waseda University, and then Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where he earned his B.S. in Physics. He then went on to earn his D.D.S. from Creighton University's School of Dentistry.
On a personal note, Dr. Kubota places top priority on the well being and happiness of his family. Dr. Kubota is drawn to water, whether it is the oceans of Hawaii, or the inland lakes of the State of Arizona. He enjoys canoeing and kayaking at Saguaro and Canyon Lakes especially after the sun has set because it is at that time that he feels in harmony with nature.
Dr. Kubota is a member of the Arizona Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association. He invites you to join our 'family' at Harmony Dental of AZ and experience dentistry in a more personal setting.
I graduated from the dental assisting program at Carrington College in 2012, and I have been working ever since! I love the aspect of being able to help others feel comfortable and at peace when visiting the office; it has to be the hands down best part of my job! When I'm not at work, I love to spend quality time with my husband and family.

This is the best dentist in the valley. I have been the patient of Dr. kubota for ten years. He is very experienced and honest. You would never want to change a dentist ever.

I had a great experience! Everyone was so kind and made me feel comfortable at my appointment. Dr Kubota and his assistant were both very gentle when working with my teeth. I'm a happy patient!

Scheduling was a breeze! Reminders before my appointment were super helpful. Dr. Kubota is thorough and conservative with his treatment plans. Hygienist was gentle and efficient. Front office reviews my treatment plan in detail, including cost and helped me schedule. In fact I scheduled my hubby at this visit too!!

The service is very good. But this visit the Dental assistant and the Doctor didn't work together as smoothly as usual. (That is the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5)

Have visited this dental location since 2013. Stopped by in advance of keeping an appointment with another provider. I'm glad I did. The office manager is extremely knowledgeable as well as the Dental Higentice and the Dentist. They addressed my immediate needs and I wasn't pressured into services I didn't feel that I needed urgently. I suggest seeing this dentist in advance of having work done at another practice.

Unreal experience with Dr. Kubota and his staff. This is, "old school" customer service. I had to have an emergency tooth extraction. Jackie, the administrator at the front desk was in contact with my Cardiologist immediately and getting the forms needed (I'm a complicated medical case). She even called me on a Saturday because she didn't have time to call me back on Friday like she said. I was never expecting that. Then when the time for the extraction came I just couldn't be more impressed with Dr. Kubota and his assistant. The extraction from shots to me in my car took about 30 minutes, and he was not rushing the job. Also, I had ZERO pain. I was not expecting that at all. He even hung around and talked to me about some things I need to get done soon so I don't lose another tooth. Very, very nice professional and hard working staff. I have found my dentist for life. This experience has seriously made me no longer afraid of the dentist. If you are looking for one, this is your staff.

Everyone was very kind. The dental assistant was quick, efficient, and friendly. Dr Michio Kubota was great. The oral exam was painless, quick and he took the time to make sure I understood what he found. Dental Hygienist was quick and efficient. Office staff were friendly and cheerful. Great atmosphere in their office. I will be sticking with this Dentist.
