Some dentists will not see pediatric patients. This is not the case at Harlem Dental Care. We are super kid-friendly and enjoy helping our younger patients with gentle treatments in a fun environment.
Of course, we provide all general dental services at Harlem Dental Care, but we also go further for your convenience. Dr. Nazar offers cosmetic dental treatments including full smile makeovers as well as other necessary procedures like one-day root canals, dental implants, and high-tech digital dentistry.
Harlem Dental Care is all about comfort, affordability, and quality. Our up-to-date dental office reflects these commitments with a welcoming, clean, and safe environment featuring the latest in technology and amenities. For example, our office is fully computerized. We use digital intraoral scanners, a painless method of mapping our patients mouths that replaces uncomfortable and messy putty impressions.
Furthermore, we also utilize digital x-rays in place of traditional film x-rays. Digital x-rays are more efficient, offer better accuracy, and subject our patients to much less radiation exposure. Our embrace of digital dentistry also means that we can offer our patients complete analyses of their smiles, allowing Dr. Nazar and his associates to help patients reach their dental goals.
We maintain a relaxing office environment, complete with amenities such as blankets, TVs featuring Netflix in every room, and free Wi-Fi. Harlem Dental Care is also completely kid-friendly, and we are certain to be especially considerate of our younger patients.
Nazar Shcheglov, DDS or simply Dr. Nazar to his patients is dedicated to serving the Harlem neighborhood with compassionate, affordable dentistry while still maintaining excellent quality. He believes in providing dental treatments that are as painless as possible to patients of any age. In fact, we are very kid friendly at Harlem Dental Care, and Dr. Nazar and his associates enjoy helping our littlest patients.
Dr. Nazar has a strong background in general dentistry and has completed numerous continuing education courses in implant and cosmetic dentistry. He has over 10 years of experience in practicing dentistry, having worked in multiple offices. He strives always to be efficient and bring kindness to the practice of dentistry.

I've had a lot of dental work throughout my 75 years. I must say this is probably the most comfortable. The doctor assessed and explained my dental implant procedure in a satisfactory manner. I'm pleased and would recommend to friends and family.

This place is horrible. If you aren't Spanish speaking, be prepared to wait hours longer than your scheduled appointment. The facility itself is old with deteriorating furniture. The front desk staff are fairly pleasant, but unhelpful, especially when it comes to inquiring about your wait time. The dentists themselves have poor bedside manner and seem irritated if you have any questions regarding your procedure/service. Maybe they are nicer in the morning, but if you are scheduled on the later end of the day, as I always was for some reason, they have the "ready to go home" attitude. When I asked for copies of my dental records, the receptionist didn't ask me for my personal information to verify myself but instead printed out another patient's history. A complete HIPPA violation. Thankfully, I was able to change my dental insurance and find another place to service my needs, professionally. Glad I didn't wait around to spend thousands on bonding (was even considering veneers) with Harlem Dental Care.

I had filling done after the process was done they took x rays of the tooth they worked on with a special device then made a hole in my tooth right at the end of the whole process of fixing the tooth. i would not recommend anyone going here they dont want you to "smile with confidence" respectfully.
