Over the last 30 years, Dr. Shah has seen amazing progress in dental technology and knowledge. To stay abreast of these developments Dr. Shah is committed to his own personal continuing education as well as selecting experienced specialists to work with. Recently, Dr. Shahs son, Dr. Kavi, has moved his Florida practice to join Dr. Shah and has brought with him further developments from his experiences there.

This commitment to continual renewal is further evidenced by the sophisticated equipment and exceptionally clean facilities Dr. Shah ensures we provide his patients. Instead of using antiquated diagnostic and treatment methods, our Jamaica and Glen Oaks dentists use digital x-rays and intra-oral cameras designed to provide an in-depth view of the teeth and soft tissues of the mouth while minimizing your exposure to radiation. In fact our equipment takes a full set of x-rays with 1/20th the radiation of a chest x-ray. With these devices, we can often detect dental health problems before they start or when they are still too small to be visible to the eye.

Heres an example of the comfort you can expect: We do implants and root canals daily but our patients tell us that they are amazed that they experience no discomfort and are back at work the next day. In fact, whenever necessary, we prescribe strong analgesics, just in case, yet even after our most extensive procedures, over 80% of our patients never take them. They find they only need regular ibuprofen.

Whether you are visiting us for a root canal or a cleaning, your comfort is our first priority. That is why we are happy to offer a full range of sedation services, everything from simple inexpensive sedative pills to laughing gas or fully unconscious sedation.

From the comfort of our reception area to the televisions in our treatment rooms, youll find no thought has been spared to ease your stay. If there is ever anything we can do to increase your ease, our trained and certified staff is dedicated to ensure every experience you have with us is unreservedly pleasant and comfortable.

Dr. Shah is very rude and unprofessional. He had one male receptionist call me 4 times and a female receptionist call me at least 12 times to remind me of my appointment. They do not send out emails. I was told that they accept my insurance. After arriving and performing xrays. And discussing treatment, dr. Shah insisted that I needed implants and told me that he wouldnt perform any other services and for me to go elsewhere. I thought that was very discriminatory. He also conducts xrays all dental procedures in an open public environment which is against the HIPAA law. All of your pertinent and personal dental conversations as well as procedures are done publicly for all to see. I asked dr. Shah why he couldn't perform any other procedures if I have active insurance that you do accept? His staff chuckled. I never felt more embarrassed and discriminated against in my life. I left his office immediately.

I've been going to this dentist since I was a child. Since I work in the city, I switched to a city dentist as it would be convenient. Big mistake, I switch back. The dentist and staff here are very caring towards their patients. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Shah's office has called me relentlessly over the past 3 years. I went to him, somewhere around 4 years ago. Every six months, they call me to remind me that I have an appointment due. I know that I will not be going to Dr. Shah anymore and I have politely asked them, everytime, to take me off of the calling list; Each time they stated that they would, but they persisted in calling me. During the most recent phone call, I very assertively spoke to the staff stating that it was inappropriate to constantly call despite my requests to be taken off of their list. The staff member hung up one me ( I didnt give them a reason to ie: didnt curse and was not abrasive). Long story short: Do not go to Dr. Shah because his staff is imposing and inappropriate.

If you want to destroy your future by yourself, go to this dentist. I really can't sleep bc of his mistakes. Moreover, he lied and his son too. I asked them to put WHITE filliing and my insuarnce covers that but they lied and put dark silver filling. DO NOT PUT BRIDGE at this dentist. BE CAREFUL. His SON is still training so be CAREFUL and DONOT let his son learn on your tooth.

The staff was extremely pleasant and professional. The dental assistant was a sweetheart. We worked together to get my x-rays done as quickly as possible. I was in excruciating pain from a broken wisdom tooth and Dr. Shah took me in right away. I had no appt. I just called them explained the situation and they had me come in that same day. The extracrion went great. I would definitely go see him again.

... . On two separate occasions I had visited this location only to be left waiting for over half an hour. Honestly, on my first visit I was more understanding as I had walked in after deciding it might be worth while to check this place out since it was so close by; but my second visit was not only planned, but I had also made an appointment that they called to confirm. Yet upon arrival, at least 10 minutes earlier then the scheduled time, I was left waiting. I had already had my forms filled and filed in their systems, while some guy who didn't even had his form filled was allowed to go into the office before me. Honestly, it was the worst experience ever. No one even made an effort to explain why I was waiting there despite having an appointment and being totally ready but having to wait for over half an hour after I ran out of work to make sure I didn't miss the appointment.
