Our location has been in operation since 1974, and since then it has remained a community asset to the Northeast Kingdom region. After completing her undergraduate studies at Valparaiso University, Dr. Katie Piet continued her post-graduate education at West Virginia University School of Dentistry. She did consider medical school, but found that the field of dentistry is a better career for those who need more of a work / life balance. Dr. Piet and her husband, Michael, recently purchased the practice, where he is also the Office Administrator. Both are proud to continue the tradition of excellence and the family-like relationships that Hardwick Dental Group has with all of its patients.
Associate Dentist Dr. Priya Vasa graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2015. She continued her post-graduate education through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the VA Medical Center in Providence, RI. In July of 2016, she joined Hardwick Dental Group, where she works hard to keep her patients smiling. Dr. Vasa enjoys performing a variety of procedures and loves how active the job keeps her. Every day is a unique opportunity to provide quality care for her patients.
Dr. Vasa is a regular attendee of the Yankee Dental Congress in Boston, MA. She values learning new skills and is always looking to implement the latest and greatest into her practice. She is eager, determined, and detailed. Its those personality traits that make her a great addition to the team at Hardwick Dental. The longevity of Hardwick Dental Group and the relationships that Dr. Vasa has built with the community inspire the team to continue to provide amazing care and treatment options to their patients.
Dr. Vasa loves her job so much that she takes it home with her! Her husband, Tyler, whom she met in Dental School, practices dentistry as well. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors and making the most of all that Vermont has to offer. Originally from Virginia, she has taken up cross country and downhill skiing and enjoys running and hiking during the warmer months.

Everyone at this office, the receptionist, hygienist, and dentist were extremely helpful and kind. I was in dire need of a cleaning and I waited way too long, to the point that I was too embarrassed to laugh or smile. Now I'm in the mirror staring at my teeth and I can't believe how much better they look.

I needed to have a cracked tooth fixed and some of my fillings were coming out and had those redone. I had no pain at all and it was all done in an hour!! Painless and courteous Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend it! I am not a person who liked the dentist- I would dread it all the month prior to my appointment. They were amazing! Painless and listened to my concerns. Not just another number. They filled out paperwork for me to get the most out of my dental insurance. Dr Piet was thorough and instead of scheduling all kinds of things- made a point to monitor first. Very highly recommend!!!

My 1st appointment here, everyone was fantastic. Mike was very kind and helpful. After going to the same dentist and hygienist for over 30 years, it was comforting to meet Katy and be relaxed. She did an awesome gentle, thorough cleaning. And Dr Priya was very kind, gentle and thorough as well. The environment was very clean and safe.

Hard to find a dental office still taking new patients after the pandemic but HDG was kind enough to let me come in to assess and see what I needed after one of my crowns fell off. I really appreciate the time they took and the professional manner in which they handled my case.

I stopped by the office today hoping only to make an appointment down the road for Dr Piet to look at a tooth that was bothering me. It was a full day of patients in the office, but Dr Piet and the staff went out of their way to squeeze me in and take care of my tooth.
