I have decided to merge my practice into Harbour Dental Care, located just a few blocks away on 75 San Marco Avenue. I and my entire team, Kalani, Lizz, and Aimee will be moving. This combination of offices will allow you to have more days and hours available to receive excellent and state-of-the-art dental care and provide even more services in the same family-friendly environment.
Dr. Kevin Snyder lives life with high energy, passion and purpose! Dr. Snyder loves practicing dentistry and improving the health, function and appearance of his patients. He treats all his patients like family and does his best to create an environment that is welcoming and comfortable.
Dr. Snyder knows that dentistry is not like a massage. The mouth is an uncomfortable location to provide treatment and the dental chair can put people in quite a vulnerable position. Dr. Snyder feels a duty to change patients' perspective on dentistry by ensuring each patient receives plenty of personal attention, compassion, and top quality treatment.
Dr. Snyder believes building trust with patients is one of the most important aspects of dental practice. Dr. Snyder has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education to enhance his skill set. His patients trust him and come to him because he is their guy and they can count on him to get it done.
Although Dr. Snyder utilizes specialists for complex treatment, he performs most of his own procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, Invisalign, implantology, and IV conscious sedation. Sedation is amazing for fearful patients or those who have large, complicated treatment plans. It also allows Dr. Snyder to do better dentistry because the patients can finally relax and have a positive experience.
Dr. Snyders personal priority is his family and he considered himself one lucky guy! Dr. Snyder and his beautiful wife, Jolie, have been dating for over 17 years now and married for 10. She is his rock, support group, inspiration, and best buddy. She is also the amazing mother to their two children, Landon (8) and Riley (6).
Dr. Christina Choe set her goal to become a dentist since she was in high school after her braces transformed her smile. Since then she has wanted to help people feel confident in their smile like she did!
Originally from Tampa, Florida, she is a double gator as she earned her bachelors and dental degree at the University of Florida. After graduating from dental school, she married her college sweetheart and moved to Fayetteville, NC to be with her husband while he finished his last year of medical school. She spent that time completing a residency in advanced general dentistry to better the quality of her work and learning new procedures that would provide more comprehensive care to her patients.
Dr. Liset Perez received her dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York. She then went on to complete her training at a postgraduate residency program at the Brooklyn Veterans Affairs NY Harbor Healthcare System.
In addition to her advanced training, Dr. Perez brings a compassionate, gentle touch that our patients will appreciate. She loves to connect with her patients by taking the time to educate and get to know them like a friend! She finds purpose in improving her patients quality of life and oral health.
Dr. Perez was born in a small town in Cuba, and grew up in Miami. As a bonus, she is fluent in Spanish too! In her free time, Dr. Perez enjoys dancing salsa, exploring the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Laura Weaver is originally from Jacksonville, Florida where she attended Mandarin High School. After graduating from the University of Florida as valedictorian with a Bachelor of Science in zoology, she continued her education there earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree.
Dr. Weaver understands the importance of treating patients in a comfortable, painless setting while providing a high level of care. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Jacksonville Dental Society.
She now calls the St. Johns area home and is happy to be practicing in both our Jacksonville and St. Augustine offices. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on the Florida Gators, exercising, and spending time with her husband, Robert, and two sons, Adam and Henry.
Dr. Varduhi Danielyan, Dr. D (as many call her), was born and raised in Armenia. At age of 16, she enrolled in the dental program at the Armenian Medical University. While 16 may seem young, it is customary to begin higher education at the universities very early in Armenia. After graduation, she started a two year general practice residency program at the Armenian Medical University, while working as an associate dentist at the same time. Later, Dr. D was able to move to New York and reunite with her family. She found opportunities to work as a dental assistant and front desk administrator while gaining licensure.
Dr. D then enrolled in the international PASS program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated in 2020. After dental school, she completed a general practice residency program at the Arizona School of Dentistry where she learned complex case management and implant dentistry.
Dr. D became a dentist because it complements her natural ability to care for people. She is passionate about creating personal, long lasting connections with her patients. She treats her patients with compassion, while serving both their emotional and dental needs because the personal connection inspires her!
Growing up in Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Curtis Moore was inspired to become a dentist from his personal experience with braces and how it gave him the confidence to embrace his smile. He attended his undergraduate education at Presbyterian College and graduated with his Bachelors of Science in biology in 2010.
After college, Dr. Moore gained experience as a nuclear chemist where he trained and led shift teams at a local nuclear power plant. Even after seven years working his way into a lead chemist role, his passion for dentistry never faded so he decided to go back to dental school. He attended the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University and graduated with several honors. The pursuit of becoming a dentist became the focus in his life with the support of his family and friends.
Dr. Moore ensures each patients needs are met with the utmost care and compassion. He hopes to apply his experiences in dentistry and life by serving his patients and the local community, while enjoying all of the activities that the Sunshine State has to offer.
Dr. Yassar Al-Fatlawi (Dr. Yassar) grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania and attended Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy high school. Dr. Yassar graduated from Gannon University with a bachelors degree in biology and was part of the early acceptance program to attend LECOM School of Dental Medicine post-graduation. Dr. Yassar moved to Bradenton, Florida to attend LECOM and obtain her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree.
Dr. Yassar chose to be a dentist for so many reasons! As an artist, she knew she wanted to put her talents to good use. Dr. Yassar knew she wanted to become a healthcare worker and conveniently enough, dentistry is the perfect mix of both! Dr. Yassar has been a competitive artist since childhood, which helped a lot with expenses through undergraduate school and has additionally helped her excel through dental school.
Dr. Yassars medium is unlimited, but she enjoys acrylic paint and prisma-colored pencils the most. She also does henna art and loves costume events! Her other hobbies include hiking, roller-blading, and yoga. Dr. Yassar is passionate about music and will not hold back on karaoke nights! When she is at home, Dr. Yassar relaxes with her beautiful Bengal cat, Siren, watches plenty of thrillers and documentaries, and hosts game nights.
Dr. Yassar loves dentistry because not only can she contribute to a patients health and function, but it allows her to empower confidence in patients through their dental appearance. Dentistry allows Dr. Yassar to practice her art while also meeting new people whom she can learn from in order to continue improving herself. Dr. Yassar wants her patients to look forward to returning to the dentist just as she looks forward to seeing them.
Dr. Antao was born and raised in Indiana. He started his dental career working as a physician assistant student at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN, where he earned his bachelors degree in health services and his MPAS (Master Physician Assistant). He then became a dental student at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
In early 2015, Dr. Antao joined the US Air Force as a Commissioned Officer. In late 2015, he served on Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana as a Chief Resident Dentist where he managed a team of 5 dental residents. In 2016, he served on Dover Air Force Base where he took on many different roles such as Triage Team, Infection Control Officer, Air Force Medical Examiner, and Dental Hygiene Liaison for Del Tech Community College.
When Dr. Antao got out of the service in 2019, he moved to Saint Augustine, FL, to work as a General Dentist - in private practice. The scope of his practice includes restorative and cosmetic dentistry, clear aligner orthodontics, botox/fillers, endodontics, periodontics, conscious sedation with oral surgery, and complex prosthodontics.
Dr. Antao has a long history of giving back to his community over the years by being a Career Development Sponsor for the Military, providing medical/dental aid with Medical Missions, and as being a college mentor for children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Dr. Antao takes great pride in performing lasting and beautiful dental work. His patients rave about his engaging demeanor and appreciate his gentle bedside manner. Dr. Antao would love to help you achieve the confident smile you deserve!

Dental Assistant Maggie is the greatest! She is kind, professional, and attentive to ones needs. She also was not afraid to point out politely to my tending dentist Alan Antao his oversights. I personally want her to be my dental assistant on all my visits.

Today my wife Jannette and i went to Harbour dental care in St Augustine . All I could say that we had a wonderful experience with Jordan who were able to navigate the complicated process to have us qualify with our insurance from moving from out of State . Dental hygienist and the doctor was great too & took their time to explain all our dental needs . 5 start for Jordan and all staff , Jordan should be the office manager who knows all about insurance and diligently gets all information from insurance company to her patients . My first time here since the merge. Kulani(?) has been my hygienist for 2 years now, she is welcoming, sincere, gentle and does amazing work. She is invested in my dental health and is fantastic at her job, you can tell when someone is passionate...she embodies that.

My dental office recently merged with Harbour Dental and it was a delightful experience. The office staff were friendly and prompt. They sent me all my paperwork online so there was less time waiting in office. My hygienist, Kalani, was so kind, charismatic, and thorough. After my own appointment, I even made an appointment for my 5 year old. Kalani was especially amazing with daughter and explained everything in such a kid friendly way. My daughter has been asking to go back to the dentist ever since and has been excited about brushing and flossing. Highly recommend this office!

The entire staff was very kind and knowledgeable and explained things in detail. Dr Antao was very professional and explained what he was doing each step of the way and made further recommendations. The only problem was a piece of cord was left under my gum, which I had to pick and floss out the next day.

I'm confused as to how all of these reviewers had such a great experience when both my husband and I had horrible experiences at Harbour Dental. Brenda, one of the people at the front desk, is professional and did help me to re-coup 99.00 that I didn't know I paid for having my crown made on the premises. They never told me that my insurance didn't cover that. Typically, assistants will tell me when a service isn't covered so that I can make an informed decision. Thank you, Brenda. And the hygienist was thorough as well on my first visit. EVERYONE else there is the opposite. I made initial appointments for both my husband and me for cleanings. We are new to the area and we keep up with our 6-month cleanings. When my husband went to his appointment, they spent too much time with his initial visit items that they said "We don't normally do cleanings on first visits." Really? Then why did I make that appointment? He was so angry. He made an appointment with ALEXANDER DENTAL: THEY ARE GREAT...GO THERE. I called to confirm that they wouldn't do that to me. They tried making me come back after my initial visit, but I told them that I had called twice prior to my appointment saying they needed to clean my teeth. During my visit, Laura Weaver said I needed a crown. I knew about the tooth that needed a crown as my former dentist had been keeping an eye on it. During the crown procedure, Weaver said, "It looks like you might need a root canal on this tooth." I thought immediately that I didn't want her to put the $99.00 on-site crown fee over my tooth if I need a root canal. I'd never had a root canal, but I did understand the concept of drilling to the root. She decided to put in the crown, although she admitted that I needed a root canal. Why would she put in the new, permanent crown when I needed a root canal? EMILY TYLER AT Oceanside Endodontics is fabulous, by the way. Professional and prepared for the day. After my root canal, I returned to Harbour Dental and Laura Weaver for the filling of my new, 1500.00 crown. The assistant wasn't going to give me novacaine. The person said "You don't need it. You have no root there." Unbelievable! I asked if she was getting filling, or me? She shamed me for needing novacaine. Wrong person to be working in a dental office. Do these people have no idea why people dislike going to the dentist? Focus on patients' needs, not their own views. Weaver did the same procedure on another patient as well. Read the other reviews. When I called to get my x-rays, they were unprofessional as well. The first person sent me some of them right away via email. When I called for the remainder, she asked if I had filled out a release of records form. I said no; someone there already sent me some records. No matter. I filled out the form. She sent some more records, but still not all of them. When I asked for any written narratives from Weaver, she said that she'd have to have the doctor look at them and sign them before she could send them. I'm still waiting on those records. Finally, they told me that I wouldn't have to pay for the filling since Weaver put in the permanent crown before my root canal. Although they didn't charge me, they still submitted to insurance. Luckily, I was at my limit with insurance and it wasn't paid. When I asked about that shadiness in submitting that claim, they said that they are required to send all procedures to the insurance company. But what if they had paid it? Weaver didn't deserve that money. PLEASE stay away from them. Go to ALEXANDER DENTAL instead. My husband and I are happy happy happy there.

Been seeing Dr Ohmer for almost a decade. Taken over by Harbour Dental and now they have a "cancel if no confirm" policy. Not a simple text or email. If you don't answer or return their call, they WILL CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT. I asked for a text or email option which they don't offer (what year is this?). Apparently Amber at the front desk would rather lose a long time patient than change this asinine policy. Again, that's one call two days out and then another the day before your appt in which they threaten to cancel if you don't confirm by 3pm. Never have I been treated by a dentist's office like a low level employee by a mid-tier manager. Real shame. The techs have always been so lovely. But, too many choices. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Dr. G. is the most Conscientious and caring dentist I have ever had in my life. In this day and age it is truly rare to receive This kind of professionalism where a dentist listens and also, asks questions; to make sure they are spot on with your needs and your results sought after. I was previously a patient of Dr Omer (Dental Doctors) before they merged with Harbour dental (very short notice on the merge... I noticed a for sale sign in front of the office before I received an email of merger). The day before I was supposed to get a crown.. Harbour advised me my insurance was no longer accepted. I am in the middle of some major dental work and spoke to Harbour and left a follow up voicemail regarding a credit promised by Dental Doctors regarding a failed implant. I have received no response.

A huge thank you to Dr. D and staff at Harbour Dental Care! I was visiting St. Augustine and broke my FRONT tooth all the way down at the gum line. Dr. D. And staff made time for me come in and set me up with a nearly perfectly clear and comfortable tray to hold my tooth in. Saved our vacation! Very pleasant and comfortable office! Thanks again!
