Dr. Arroyo was born in Takoma Park, Maryland and raised in Burtonsville, Maryland. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at University of Maryland College Park in 2001 and then attended the University of Maryland Dental School earning her doctorate in dental surgery degree in 2005. From 2005 to 2006 she completed a one-year internship in oral & maxillofacial surgery with the University of Maryland Medical System, and then completed a four-year residency and received her certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. in 2010. In 2009 she held a part-time fellowship position in the Department of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery / Division of Dental and Oral Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Arroyo is a Board Certified Diplomate of American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and of the American Dental Association. She is also an active member of the Middle Atlantic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Maryland State Dental Association. She is also is a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.Dr. Arroyo has staff privileges at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Maryland.
She serves on the Deans Faculty in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland Dental School.Dr. Arroyo enjoyed riding horses when she was on the equestrian team, the EquiTerps, at the University of Maryland College Park. She started skydiving, riding motorcycles, scuba diving, and snow boarding when she met her husband, Dr. Jeremi Arroyo, in Dental School. Dr. Arroyo lives in Baltimore City with her husband and two boxers, Maxie and MonAmie.

Awesome experience! The doctor was great along with her staff... It's was so quick, I can tell they take pride in their work... Definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs anything done!

Don't count on them if you have a complex case. Would've been nice if they attempted to be helpful other than simply telling you the dr can't take you and call UMD.

My 17-year-old daughter just had her wisdom teeth out, and I am pleased with the experience. The office staff was helpful and friendly, we had virtually no wait times, the office is so nicely appointed which seems trivial, but really helps to create calm atmosphere. Most importantly, Dr. Arroyo was great.

Highly recommend!! My procedure was smooth and easy, staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Also I was very impressed when Bonnie recommended clove oil for my tooth pain rather than pain killers!! And it worked like a CHARM!

Great front desk and assistances and Dr. Arroyo does phenomenal work , but the office manager is very rude and unprofessional, she was telling me about not coming in between the 15 minute grace period, and was talking to me like I was a child. Going back and forth

This is my second visit to see Dr Arroyo for another extraction. Another great success! I was in a lot pain coming into the surgery, but i was taken great care of by Dr. Arroyo and her assistant Mckenzie(I believe, sorry if I'm wrong my fellow scorpio). The staff is always so friendly, kind, and comforting! Hopefully I wont be back for a while, but if that time comes I'll be happy to see familiar faces Thanks again!!! Also want to mention that the covid protocols were on point! Great job!

Dr. Arroyo and her entire staff are an incredible team. They made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease during each appointment, especially during COVID times where you can't have anyone in the office with you. Everyone is just so kind and they practice patient-first care. Dr. Arroyo will always get my recommendation.

Went in to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed! Everyone was so nice and efficient! Dr Arroyo did a fantastic job! Highly recommended!

My experience here was awful. I was given no explanation on the procedure preformed nor was my parents. The procedure wasn't finished because I was squeezed in after waiting 4 weeks for an appointment. Very unprofessional. I was told surgery wasn't involved and left with stitches and a swollen mouth after an hour and a half surgery. No one contacted post-op to inform us on what happened until we demanded an explanation. I did not feel comfortable here and I felt very disrespected. I left in pain and very upset. Do not recommend!!

I have a phobia of the dentist! NOT ANYMORE!! I had the BEST experience!! Painless and only 30 minutes!!! Minimal swelling and bleeding!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

No communication, no apology, no way you are sedating my 5yr old. I cannot speak for the surgeon since I did not have the opportunity of meeting them because the office staff was so inept.

An update: my first time seeing a doctor willing to write prescription for antibiotics WITHOUT seeing the patient in person. I emailed the office and informed them that I MAY have infection (I'm not a doctor!) and she immediately agreed to write me prescription WITHOUT seeing the patient. This is very irresponsible, careless, and dangerous. I do not recommend this doctor or her office. So far, my experience has been disastrous with the staff here. I do not know about the doctor; but the staff there are terrible people. All they need to do was to call my pharmacy and put in an antibiotic order for the pharmacy so that I can come to my appointment ready and what did they do? NOTHING and when I called to complain to doctor, they tried to stop me from talking to doctor just to cover their backs. Her office manager didn't stop there; she cancelled my surgery appointment 36 hours before the surgery.

This place is AMAZING!! The entire experience has been nothing but positive at Harborview Surgical Arts. Dr. A and her assistants are so patient and gentle. They even wiped my tears when I was crying. I have a huge phobia of dental work. But here, its the exact opposite. They are truly amazing!! I highly recommend everyone go here!!
