There are a lot of great dentists out there. So how do you decide who to see? Most of our new patients come from referrals from others or just word of mouth. We don't advertise much, because we think nothing beats personal experience. If you don't have the luxury of a personal referral here's a few things that we feel strongly about:
My family consists of my wife Patti, oldest son John, daughter Melissa, youngest son Thomas, and a Springer named Neli. Our family and friends enjoy cabin-time and all the activities the lake has to offer.
I continue to love my job and feel blessed this is the profession I chose. My staff that works in the office, here at Harborview Family Dental, is excellent and makes coming to work a pleasure. I feel very honored, grateful, and humbled treating our patients here at HVFD.

Doctor Madison was my dentist as a child, and as I grew and left Minnesota, I had to search new dentists everywhere I lived. After about 15 different dentists over the last 15 years, I made a special trip back to Duluth just to have my teeth cleaned and checked on by him and his staff. They are more reliable, professional, and efficient than any other location or person I have worked with. Highly recommend using Doctor Madison for your care. Ive tried so many places, and they just dont compare. Harborview Family Dental is really the best.

This dental practice holds my entire life's Dental records from 5 years old to 50. Today I received a pandemic era routine dental cleaning. Appointments are scheduled 20 min apart so there is no waiting room sharing. Plexiglass at front desk, hygienist Heather was welcoming and I felt very comfortable and safe. Entire staff was fully masked. Hygentist and dentist wore N95 s, fully gloved and face shields. Highly recommend this dental practice.

We've gone here for years. Very nice and thorough dentists and hygienist. Staff is very friendly and courteous. They have recently moved one floor down to 6th floor.
