This office has terrible business practices. First they had full x-rays done on me without verification of my insurance if I was eligible for them, which is every 5 years for full xrays. So I was billed for these xrays $56 to which back in 2020 I spoke with the office administrator Cynthia, as well as the Hygenist Veronica, at the time and the office administrator apologized and told me to disregard that charge because it was no fault of mine and they should have verified the information or requested prior xrays from my previous dentist. I never heard anything about it again until July and August 2022 mind you after the practice was sold to This Doc Megan M. Faircloth who is NOT at all competent on how to run a dental practice and treat patients that continued to follow the practice with this new Doc despite being unaware that all this was going on behind the scenes and we just popped up with this New Doc Faircloth. Well this is how she and her office staff handled this situation, I was scheduled to come in for a cleaning in October, she had her office staff send the $56 to collections...... really collections when they knew I was due to come in the first week of October which we could have discussed further or set something in place, but collections what a way to treat a patient with excellent health insurance plus I had been a regular with my Hygenist years before she came to Harbor Town Dental which by the way was the only reason I came to this office. I no longer will be seen at that practice and definitely Not see Faircloth if she was a last resort. I called and asked if I could get my xrays sent to my new Dental office they said they dont have it on electronic file only hard copy which is in storage, and I have to pay $25 & $56 to get it. Now if only their practice would have requested xrays in the beginning like they were supposed to do I would not be going through this. They have lost a customer. I would NEVER REFER them. This Doc Faircloth does not care she puts her staff up to relaying messages that they don't even feel confident or comfortable relaying to patients. This all could explain why their patient count has dropped and now only open 3 days. hhuM Need patients to run a practice good luck.

Dr. Faircloth is professional and listens to your concerns. She also explains to the patient individual plan of care options. Office is calming and immaculate along with staff. Staff also professional, courteous and patient.

Dr. Faircloth has restored my faith in a dentist! After having a horrible experience with some crowns, I hadn't visited a dentist for several years. I was having a crown replaced on this visit. It was a welcoming atmosphere from the start from her staff. I felt at ease immediately and was pleased to have such kind, gentle and compassionate care from the doctor. It was evident that she truly cares for her patients, is attentive to individual fears and loves her job. It is refreshing and difficult to find service like that today! Gail Bryan

Dr. Faircloth is a great dentist. She pays attention to my fears and concerns. BEST Invisalign treatment EVER! She made sure that I LOVED my smile. Whitening, bonding and everything. Super cool staff too. From front desk to dental assistants. HIGHLY recommend @

At first I was nervous to learn that the Harbortown practice was under new ownership but after my initial visit I felt assured that I was in caring and competent hands with Dr Faircloth and her team.

I went to the same dentist my whole but after he retired, I wanted to try someone closer to where I live. So grateful to have found this office! Great staff/communication all around and Dr. Faircloth is incredibly knowledgable and kind. Small operation but feels very neighborly.

Dr. Faircloth is amazing and beyond wonderful with children! My son had to get cavities filled for the first time. She went through all the steps she was going to do and answered all of his dozens of questions! She also answered all of my questions and took plenty of time with us. Her "bedside manner" is top notch. So very comfortable with and impressed by her!

I had an 11:30 am appointment. I was five minutes late. I traveled from Redford to nearly downtown Detroit for the appointment. When I finally got to speak to the receptionist Barb, after waiting 5 minutes, I was told my appointment would have to be rescheduled. They took another patient in front of me. If it's by appointment only, how can someone be ahead of me? They apparently booked two appointments for the same time. This office has changed since the original dentist retired. Lesson, don't expect things to remain the same. They kept the name but downgraded the service.

I found about Dr. Faircloth thru the Nextdoor app that I use. One of my neighbors on the app says her sister is a dentist and just opened up her office in our neighborhood. I was looking for a new dentist and decided to go check her out. Love the location and the office is very warm and welcoming. She's very detailed when explaining what problems you have going on with your teeth. She also makes sure that you understand what she's telling you before you leave her office so you can follow preventative measures at home. The atmosphere is calming and the music is always relaxing. So far I've been to her office 2 times. I've also scheduled my daughter that's 15 years of age. Teens are very particular but mine had no complaints .

Just had my first visit to Harbortown Dental. The most thorough cleaning I think I've ever had in my life! My hygienist was very professional, the office was very tidy, and the dentist was prompt and accurately pinpointed my issue. I will definitely be returning.

Harbortown Dental Care is great! They quickly fit me in when I had a dental emergency, now I won't be going anywhere else for dental care. Staff is friendly, patient and follow up w/ scheduling. Dr. Faircloth has a gift. She completely quelled my anxiety and explained the procedures in an easy, digestible way. Thanks for taking care of my teeth!

Dr Faircloth did an excellent job of addressing the issue I came in to get a second opinion for. She was very thorough in explaining what was going on with my teeth and the treatment options, so I am staying with this office now.

Hubby & I have been going here for years. We drive quite a distance because of the great care & service we always receive here. From Cindy at the front desk to Veronica the dental hygienist (who knows my teeth well) & lastly Megan Faircloth, DDS. Who shows her professionalism. Everything is explained clearly & I walk out a happy camper. After going there for years, I will continue to have great trust in Harbortown Dental. Give them a try!
