Recently moved into the area and needed to find a dentist. Can't exactly remember how I got their practice but had my first appointment yesterday. Office was easy to get to, was pleasantly welcomed, and had a session with Danielle, the Hygienist, who talked me through the cleaning. Followed that up with Dr. Abell coming by to do her own review. All in all a good experience!

My name is Diamond Riegel, I recently had a very tough implant and am fortunate to be recommended by my Periodontist to Dr. Elizabeth Abel. Dr Abel is a skilled innovative problem solving competent 'Expert"! Yesterday my new implant, meet her new tooth. This was not an easy implant, I guess I could say Dr Abel is my "tooth fairy". The staff is genuinely kind, caring, and true professionals. The office is immaculate. I have had much work done to keep a healthy mouth and a pretty smile. I am very Grateful and fortunate to add Dr Abel and her staff to my many dentistry and medical miracles. Without these hard working amazing human beings that give up so much to help us, I would not be the happy healthy happy person. I am grateful. I am a fairly new patient at Harbor Point Dentisty. It has been a wonderful experience. A great blend of professional and friendly. I recently needed to have an implant proceedure done. The team work with Dr. Brian Low at HILTON HEAD ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY performing the extraction and implant prepartation, and Dr. Elizabeth Abell at HARBOR POINT DENTISTRY performing the crown preparation and fiting was beyound my expectation. I honestly do not think it could have been done any better. I have not had any better medical care in my 70+ years. Both offices receive my highest recommendation.

Dr. Abell and the entire team at Harbor Point Dentistry are beyond good - they are GREAT! Dr. Abell is by far the most caring, personable, skilled and genuinely knowledgeable dental professionals I have ever met in my 68 years on this planet. I left an email on Saturday 6/11/22 that a filling had fallen out from a front tooth. I received an email on Sunday and a call today Monday to come in. Amazing! She and her team worked together like the NFL to get me comfortable with the issue, the procedure and the cost. In fact, she took me instead of her lunch break because that's just the kind of true, caring professional she is. If you anywhere near their office in Bluffton,SC and you need any kind of dental work (did I mention she installed two dental implants for me earlier this year?) do not waste your time in a waiting room for any other dentist. Call Dr. Abell. She really has the right name, because she is able to help everyone with dental issues.

Harbor Point Dentistry is by far the best dental practice I've ever experienced. My wife and I moved to the are two years ago and tried several dental practices. We found them to be understaffed, overbooked and miserable to work with. I was referred to Harbor Point and have never looked back. The office is bright and cheerful and Dr. Abell and her staff are friendly, kind and courteous. Most importantly, they provide world class dental services. Extremely thorough - op notch work! 5- STARS+!!

So happy I found this dentist! Dr. Abell and her staff have been wonderful. Cleanings have actually been pleasant - the hygienist is friendly, efficient and has made each visit very comfortable - music is great too! Dr. Abell has handled an issue that I was dealing with from a prior dentist and fixed it perfectly!! I had a crown done recently as well and it's the absolute best crown experience I ever had. It was placed without any adjustments! Dr. Abell does a great job explaining everything in an easy to understand way. She's also really good at keeping you updated as she's doing the work on your teeth. She's a very compassionate dentist. Offices are very clean. Highly recommend!!!

Happily surprised!!! I some what recently had a dental issue new to the area I did some research and as we all know nothing is certain. Well I would like to share my experience: I called for an appointment due to a dental emergency the dentist and the patients were so accommodating because I had my child's wedding in a couple of days. Under that stress sometimes we can be taken advantage of, but not in this case. The Dentist and the staff were so honest, kind and forthcoming it was so refreshing that there are still people out there that are driven by what is best for the patient medically and financially. She gave me multiple seniros to make an informed decision. The staff was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. They reviewed my insurance information and my current situation sharing all information which put my mind at ease. If you want an amazing Dentist that knows her stuff with well informed staff you have made the right choice, look no further give them a call.

So after waiting thru COVID I went in here as a new patient. Was told they would not work on me as I had too much gingivitis. Said my dentist up north of 25 years missed it. Said they would run it thru my insurance and see what they pay. I said forget that do the treatment and I would pay whatever it is. They said we're very busy and it could be months. In the meantime I make a trip up north to the old dentist who says you do have gingivitis in one quadrant, treated it and done. I had a call from the dentist at harbour who asked if I still needed to come in. During that call I asked what I could do to treat the gingivitis, different toothpaste, what do they suggest. She said all toothpaste is the same I need their deep cleaning on all 4 quadrants of my mouth. I've always taken excellent care of my teeth. Said they would wait for my insurance estimate, I had been waiting several months. A few weeks later they call to say my insurance Aetna is not paying enough, find a dentist in your plan. I was given the boot! So I did, Dr. Wonder who said my teeth were perfect. I went to 2 dentists who disputed the recommendations of harbour dental. I also want to be seen every 6 months, they give out 9 month appointments, They are too busy to give adequate quality care, and I am so glad I sought 2 other opinions, beware! Unfortunately there is no oversight of dentists like there is of medical or I would be reporting these deceptive practices. Social media and the bbb Are the alternatives I'll be reporting to.

Customer service out of this world! The staff at Harbor Point makes you feel comfortable and welcome into the office. Don't wait to get in to get your teeth looked at! Their waiting list will fill up fast because they are simply the best around!
