Oral, maxillofacial and periodontal surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Our practice manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions as well as specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and in the placement of implants. Our surgeons practice a full scope of surgeries with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Our doctors can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and fractures. Other offerings include the treatment of gum problems and cosmetic periodontal procedures.
Our clinical staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. In fact, many of our surgical assistants are certified through the Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam (DAANCE).All clinical staff are CPR certified and x-ray certified, and many hold licenses as RNs and LPNs.

Harbor Light is amazing. Both of my sons had their wisdom teeth removed and had a great experience. Drs. O'Neil and McCabe are amazing and I can't say enough about their after-hours nurse, Shelley. She was so helpful and responsive when we had questions. You're in very good hands for wisdom teeth extraction, just be sure to follow their very clear instructions!

I called on Monday morning to have work done and was scheduled for Wednesday at 10:30am. They texted me on Tuesday morning at 8:13am stating my appointment was now Thursday at 9:30am. Due to a huge mistake by the scheduler, I would not be able to get in until a much later date and would need to endure the major pain I'm having until then. I'm a teacher and would never have scheduled an appointment for my first day back. They took no ownership or urgency to make it right. They just told me to reschedule and wait. I would highly recommend avoiding this "business" and find one that cares about your pain and needs. They clearly did not.

I was pretty nervous to have my tooth pulled. My experience couldn't have be better. It's funny because I never thought I'd write a review about a tooth extraction. The bedside manner of Dr. McCabe and the other experts in the room was so comforting. I so appreciate their care, diligence, and experience. Dr. McCabe followed up with me directly after the procedure. I felt like I was in such good hands. Thank you!!

If I could give them zero stars it would be too many. They over bill and then do not return your funds for months but require payment immediately. After 5 months they tried to say my husband had a procedure done that he did not but they were just trying to keep our money (over $500). We requested our records to move on and they refused to give them. The doctors were great but the office staff and billing are not.

I had 2 teeth pulled today and had a great experience. Dr. Seal was a hoot and I would recommend her to anyone. The entire staff was friendly, professional and kind. I couldn't be happier.

I had an absolutely horrible experience here with Dr. Simonton, who could not have cared less about my life, my quality of life, my pain, and the comfort and care I deserve. I would never recommend seeing him. I've spent time in the hospital because of him. He is a completely careless person and doctor.

I just had a wisdom tooth extracted today and I am so happy with the outcome. A little tender in the area, but really no pain. The staff is very friendly! I would highly recommend Harbor Light if you are needing oral surgery. They are definitely a 5 Star!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Anderson was great! I didn't even feel any pulling when she removed my tooth. I was surprised she was able to take it out so easily since it was half broken off. Dr. McCabe was wonderful as well. I saw him before I saw Dr. Anderson. He was quite concerned about my not taking an antibiotic before the procedure. He did not feel comfortable taking the tooth out without the recommended medication. I am very pleased with his concern. It made me very comfortable knowing he wasn't willing to take any shortcuts. I recommend this office and Dr. McCabe or Dr. Anderson to anyone who wants a excellent Doctor that truly cares about their patients this is the office to go to.

All of the nurses and staff are kind and polite. Seems like they genuinely care about the patients. The oral surgeon I had was also wonderful I just can't think of his name off the top of my head. But overall a wonderful experience here every time I go.

The entire process at Harbor Light is wonderful! Dr. Simonton has a genuine, reassuring bedside manner which is very helpful for wisdom teeth cases that may often be a young persons first experience with anesthesia. The staff is accommodating and does whatever they can to make scheduling convenient. Even though the contact is brief and often doesn't require any follow up, they get to know you so you know you matter.
