Harborlight helped me with all my anxiety of having a tooth pulled. They reassured me the entire time. I would recommend them to anyone. Even after I had the tooth pulled and came home and had to call them because I was in so much pain they continued to reassure me that the pain would ease soon. Very helpful with everything.

Dr. Seal and her team are amazing! I've had extractions done and currently getting implants. Not fun stuff, but they are wonderful! Her bedside manner is top notch! Always concerned about your comfort & making sure you are ok, explaining what she is doing each step of the way. Everyone is professional and so caring & kind! Dr. Seal called me the day after surgery to see how I was doing, wow! I just love her & her team!

For a dental procedure that I wasn't looking forward to, it went extremely well and my recovery time was minimal. Check in and payment process went smoothly.

I had two wisdom teeth extracted at age 74. Dr. McCabe and his assistant, Audra, handled the procedure extremely well, from my point of view. There was no pain whatsoever either during the procedure or the days after it. I highly recommend them for serious dental work.

My girlfriend went there three years ago to have wisdom teeth removed and end up getting bone infection and having permanent nerve damage done and now is no longer able to work at career she had for 10 years. In pain and cries every day thanks Ben Simonton!

Billing department is a mess. They have you pay in full which is fine but then try to come after you a year later stating your insurance didn't cover enough. Billing department doesn't answer or call back ever. Wouldn't recommend.

I wish that it was possible to give 10 stars instead of 5 because I definitely would. Within the past 12 months I have had 2 appointments for extractions of non-wisdom teeth, and both experiences have vastly exceeded my hopes for a 'not terrible time'. Both times the receptionists and check-out ladies were extremely friendly, easy to understand, and patient with my questions. For the first visit, I arrived pretty early - they got me in and got my tooth out so fast that by the time my original appointment time rolled around I was sitting on the bench outside waiting on my pickup ride, stunned at their expedience and honestly wondering whether or not I'd just imagined the whole visit in my head. Now, I might be a woman in her late 30"s, but I still regard being poked with needles with child-like trepidation and disdain. Going into that first visit, I was not so excited about getting the local anesthetic blocks. Dr. Seal and her assistants walked me through what to expect for every step and kept comforting/encouraging/distracting me from the initial placement of the topical anesthetic to the moment the problematic tooth exited my mouth (they did this at both visits, actually). After the recent second visit, I was so overcome with gratefulness at being out of pain that I started thanking them and telling them I loved them about 3 or 4 times right in a row. Eventually I got it together and apologized for making things weird. They insisted that it was fine and not to worry (I'm thankful for their compassionate understanding). I love everything about this place and the people I've interacted with there. 10 stars. The only thing better would be to not have dental problems in the first place, but that's on me.

An awful place. I can't speak to the actual quality of surgery, because I never even got that far. My dentist recommended this place to get my wisdom teeth removed. I arrived for my appointment and waited in the room till the surgeon came. He took a look at my teeth for about 2 minutes and confirmed that I did need to get my wisdom teeth removed. I then went to the receptionist to check out; the whole process took maybe 20 minutes. What I did not discover until later was that they charged $165.00 for this service. A service that was essentially a man glancing at my teeth and confirming the information that I already told them (a little bit ridiculous). At the checkout I accidentally gave the receptionist my medical insurance instead of dental insurance. Instead of taking 2 seconds of effort to say "this is medical insurance, we need your dental insurance," the receptionist just decided that I should have known better, and that I should be punished. Once I received the bill I called back and ended up speaking to the same receptionist, who was extremely defensive, unprofessional, and unhelpful. They said "You should have known better, my children are very young, and even they know this." I gave Harbor Light my correct dental insurance, but the claim was rejected because "The procedure is not defined by the American Dental Association and therefore is not covered." Overall it was an AWFUL experience, where I gained nothing for the health of my teeth and had to pay $165 dollars completely out of pocket, all because of 1 receptionist's laziness and lack of empathy. I don't know how good the actual surgeons are there, but I can't imagine any great surgeon would foster/allow this kind of behavior from their staff. Ridiculous...

Three of our four kids have had their wisdom teeth out at this office. Very happy with our experience each time. Each of them had Dr. O'Neil. All of the staff was friendly and professional. Will be going back for our fourth and final kid in a few years

I saw Dr Simonton today in the BG location. I was extremely nervous about getting a tooth pulled but his staff was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable. Dr Simontons nurse Tracy was so funny and Dr Simonton was a true professional. Just a few painless tugs and the tooth was out!!! Didn't even know it was over. I highly recommend coming to Harborlight Oral Surgeons for any of your needs!!

Dr. SEAL...She's highly skilled as a dentist. I've needed her care twice in the past 3 years. I highly recommend her to anyone needing an oral surgeon. I cannot praise her adequately, except to say she showed respect to me, listening to me about my anxiety. She was gentle, kind, calmed me down & proficient! She also has a very capable assistant Shannon. The other office staff at BG location are friendly & very helpful getting you in and out. (And lastly, they have good taste in the music playing in procedure room!) Between Dr Seel & my regular Dentist, Dr Michael Thebes in Perrysburg, I'm beginning to overcome my fear of dental procedures! Thank you!

The will not tell you they dont take your insurance until after your appointment and you owe them hundreds of dollars. Extremely unprofessional when we had two different dental policies and they would not take either, but did not inform us of that until after the appointment and whoever took the appointment lied in the notes that we knew that. We did not know, and we are extremely unhappy. We would not have gone here knowing they did not take either of our dental coverages.
