They do not allow a minor to have a parent/ guardian in the back. Even though legally a minor can have a parent/guardian present. They were over an hour past the appointment time, people who came in after were taken right back ( and stated their appointment time was after ours) and finished before our appointment The new receptionist was nice but the rest of the staff was not. I'm Not impressed at all and do not recommend if your child gets scared or doesn't like to be alone at the dentist. Hopefully they can do better. But not likely.

My little sis An I were scarred to go. We had a dentist who not nice. They made us Waite for along time to. Mom promese us the new one was super specal and nice. I did not wont to see the new dentest but they were really nice and They are cool. They have coins you can spend Inna gum ball machiene for toys. They didn't hurt my mouth or be rude. Me and my sis like it here. Now I'm not a scrared to go. Update -3 years later 2022 My daughter does not need to be put to sleep in order to have dental care. She can use laughing gas and be fully awake to have all her dental work done. My youngest child on the other hand is still fearful of the dentist. She likes going there as long as she doesn't have to have any drilling done. For the most part this is the best dentist my kids have ever been to. They care about the children they make them comfortable and two out of three are happy to be here. Unfortunately the third one has had a very bad experience to the doctors at Sea Mar. So she's very skittish when it comes to dentists even good ones like this.

We've been going to Harbor Kids Dental since they opened. We have been very pleased with the level of respect and care we receive from any of the dentists we've seen, and my boys have always felt very comfortable with the assistants. However, the last three visits we have had, the ladies at the front desk have been less than professional. I assumed before that maybe I had caught them on a bad day, but this seems to be a recurring trend. As someone sitting in the waiting room this morning while my child is having his treatment in the back, the last thing I want to listen to is the front desk gossipping about how Brenda doesn't scan in referrals on time, or how they feel poorly about a certain dentist returning "even though he just sold his house a year and a half ago." Maybe encourage them to keep the gossip to a minimum, or at least lower their voices instead of speaking poorly of their coworkers in front of patients and their parents.

Harbor kids dental use to be a good place to take the kids. Over the past year since Dr. Trent left the whole place have gone done hill. They cant keep a single doctor, Every time we go in there was a new doctor. Also they are a revolving door with the staff. From one visit to the next you wont recognize anyone. They recently sent out my personal information to another patients phone. This person knew me and sent me a screenshot of the text message. When i spoke to them they told me that the information in my account was changed to be sent to that number. So sometime back in August someone walked in and was able to access my account in person and no one thought to ask for ID. Most recently my family arrived at the office. As i was filling out the paperwork they started calling my kids back. When i go up to go with them they told me i was not allowed to go back because of Covid. I told them this was not an option because we have small children and children that do not communicate well and we needed to know what was going on. They said this was the new mandate. We haven't had any issues with this routine until this visit. The manger came out and began to argue with us. We have notes from the previous doctor stating that we are allow to go back with the children but she did not want to listen to what we had to say. We ended up leaving because of this . We will not be returning. We contacted their sister office in Tumwater and they had not heard of this new mandate and said it was not how their office is ran there in Tumwater. We already see orthodontics at this office in Tumwater and now will be taking out business there. I dont now recommend Harbor kids dental in Aberdeen unless your children are older and can control their own care.

Quality of care is great. Both of my kids have been going here since their first teeth, my oldest has been a patient since they opened. Doctor is smart, motivated, and great with kids. My only reason for 4 stars is my family has experienced a few scheduling issues, just make sure you double check your appointment times with the office staff.

I had my daughters check up done and that went well. However, they gave me a card and sheet of paper informing me of an appointment date for her (about a month or so in advance) and detailing what to do and not. They made it clear to me that I was supposed to be called the day before said date so they could give me a time and give me details about the process and if I didn't answer they would cancel my appointment and give it to someone else. They said it couldn't be any other day than a Wednesday and I told them I would make it work with my job. I requested the date they 'appointed' me off from work, a month or so in advance. The day before arrived and I didn't receive a call so I called their office and they told me my daughter was never scheduled in for that date. They said they couldn't do anything about it other than reschedule me in IF someone cancels. Other than that reschedule me for a later date. I talked to 3 individuals (one being the person that told me I was scheduled in) and they couldn't do anything about it. It has come to my attention that many other people have had 'scheduling issues' with them so I didn't believe any of the excuses they gave me. The last person I spoke to (team leader she said) began to get slightly louder and cut me off and would talk over me when I tried speaking. Very very unprofessional and disappointed. Will definitely not take my daughter there anymore.

I have been seeing Aberdeen Harbor Kids Dental for ortho for about 6ish months now. They have been nothing but polite and helpful! I struggled a lot with my self-image mainly due to my very messed up teeth. They worked with me and got me started on braces within a month and even tracked down my insurance plan for me as I was too swamped with everything to check myself. I'm on a very cheap payment plan and they never rush anything. Appreciate all they have done to improve my smile and quality of life. The only thing I would like to be done differently is not being scheduled out so far. Last appointment was beginning of January, the next one is in the middle of April I'm sure they are busy!

This clinic is the greatest! They are always so warm and caring and make my kids excited instead of nervous about going to the dentist! The front desk staff is super polite and friendly and you are treated with care and great respect the whole time from the first moment you walk into the office until they are extending their goodbyes and well wishes. The dentists are so amazing and do a fabulous job, while also always magically getting everything done with amazing results in SUCH a crazily short amt of time! The way they were able to get my child in and out for a filling within 20mins total (with nitrous oxide!!) totally blew me away! I asked my daughter if the shots to numb her mouth hurt and she replied confused, "WHAT shots?" Two thumbs up Harbor Kids Dental!!

Thank you harbor kids dental for all that you do! Thank you for the kind service, making each visit as pleasant as possible. Thank you dental team for being so thorough at each check up my daughter has. I can't remember everyone's names, but the staff as a whole are amazing! Hopefully my daughter will take better care of her teeth. She had to have three removed and a few silver caps put in. Just the whole procedure (in my opinion), staff was informative and when they noticed they needed to make changes. Staff asked for my consent first (I know that's a given), but it doesn't go unnoticed. I appreciated the anesthesiologist talking time through her part of the procedure, what to expect, what to look out for. After the procedure, they had my daughter nap in a room for 10-15mins and would check on her (yes, I got to be in the recovery room with my daughter). A staff member offered to help me get my daughter into our car. Overall a big fat THANK YOU Harbor Kids Dental for an amazing job!

They're thorough and nicely paced, they talk to me which generally helps my anxiety about going to a dentists office, and they get the job done. I'll be sure to brush more!

While the dentist are friendly, the staff is un-impressing. Every time my kids had an appointment something was wrong. Like them not billing our insurance correctly. Id walk in for an appointment with the surprise of an unknown outstanding balance. (No bill was sent to me that I was aware of and they have the correct mailing address...) Or waiting until I walk my children in for an appointment and notify me that the insurance wont cover their visit until the next day. This information could have been shared the week prior when they called to confirm or when the appointment was set. Mind you they have been billing my insurance since before I was their customer. I do not mind paying the office visit but the point is that the customer service part was not the best. My daughter was scheduled for the wrong procedure, luckily they caught it in time prior to the appointment. All in all the experience was not good and I do not recommend Harbor Kids Dental.

The dentist and his assistants have always been kind and friendly. But the secretaries they hire, which they go through them fast, were absolutely rude. I asked a couple questions and they answered with attitude and rudely. They questioned my age and even went as far as to ask why I was upset? When I simply asked why they changed the paperwork that has been the same for years. Truly disappointed. I was in no shape or form upset to begin with but when I got questioned for asking questions then I felt upset. Honestly going to try to get my kid out of there.
