Dr. Skane is a native of Baltimore and has spent his entire life in the mid-Atlantic area. While growing up in Catonsville he learned the basic values of hard-work, honesty, and the importance of caring for others. Values which serve him well when trying to address the needs of his patients.
After attending the University of Maryland College Park, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Biology, Dr. Skane was fortunate to attend the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. While at BCDS (the first dental school in the world!) Dr. Skane developed a passion for handling dental emergencies and relieving the associated pain that comes from a toothache. He then decided to further his education and after graduating Magna Cum Laude, enrolled in the Endodontic residency program at the University of Maryland. After the challenging 2 year program Dr. Skane decided to put his hard-earned skills to work for the people of his home-town of Baltimore.
Dr. Skane is an assistant clinical professor at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where he teaches both the undergraduate dental students and post-graduate Endodontic residents how to perform state-of-the-art endodontic treatment.Dr. Skane has consistenly been recognized by his peers in the 'Best of' Baltimore in Baltimore Magazinefor 8 years in a row!
Dr. Skane is also an active member of theAmerican Dental Association, theMaryland State Dental Association, the Baltimore City Dental Society, where he serves on the Board of Directors, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor dental fraternity. Dr. Skane is also a founding member of the International Academy of Endodontics. Dr. Skane has presented research papers at national meetings and is a frequent attendee at national and international continuing education seminars. Dr. Skane believes thatcontinual learning is an integral part of optimal patient care.

Dr Skane was incredibly kind and compassionate. I have a history of traumatic experiences at the dentist and crippling anxiety when it comes to getting in the chair. He explained everything per my request and was so incredibly fast. The procedure was completely painless. I am so appreciative.

Had an emergency and needed a root canal. The office booked me a day or two later. Best dental procedure I have ever had. Staff was informative and kind. Dr. Skane was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly skilled. Definitely recommend.

As many others said dr skane and his staff were great! Office was clean and friendly. Parking garage very close by so easy to get to. I had to get root canal done and he had me in and out within a hour. Highly recommend THANK you

I came in to harbor endodontics to get a root canal procedure done after having severe pain for days, they were able to get me in the next day after i called and the procedure was very efficient but well done! Everyone in the office was very kind and the Dr. was super efficient and personable! I definitely recommend harbor endodontics!

Great customer service. Dr. Skane explained everything about the procedure and what to expect afterwards in great detail. He answered every question. His assistant gave me TLC because I was terrified. Everything went perfectly!!!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They got mei n right away for a root canal. They even called the day before to tell me my copay for the visit. Dr. Skane was very gentle. He explained everything and made sure I didn't feel any pain. One of the staff called me today, which is 2 days after the root canal,to see how I was doing!

My experience was a great one at Harbor Endodontics the staff was very helpful. Dr. Skane really sat my mind at ease and the procedure was quick and easy, I had very little discomfort once I arrived home.

My encounter was terrific! The Doctor and his team were professional and efficient. They made me feel comfortable even though I was in terrible shape from being in need of a root canal. One of the cleanest Dental office u will ever visit ,it's very comfortable. The Doctor gave me information on what to expect of my procedure . My procedure went great the staff is very helpful. I highly recommend them for anybody who needs a root canal

I visited 2 x 10 years apart. The first time I went I remember thinking WOW root canals are not that bad. Really no pain at all. My second time 10 years later I had to get another because of a cracked tooth and again NO Pain. Dr. Skane is fantastic. His staff couldn't be nicer. He's great at explaining and makes you feel completely comfortable. Good central location downtown with easy parking.

Dr. Timothy is EXCELLENT! I was in need of my first root canal and had a ton of questions. Dr. Timothy answered every single question I had. He was so kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. After answering all of my questions, I was assured and felt confident that everything would go smoothly. And it did! The root canal went very well and I would definitely recommend Dr. Timothy Skane if you need dental work completed by a caring professional.
