I'd like to express my strong disappointment with Harbor Dental Group, Alexander Vilderman DDS, 825 Harbor Blvd, West Sacramento. I wanted to have my teeth filled and cleaned. My first visit was perfect. The staff was polite and professional. However, my second visit left me exasperated. I was recommended to have filings on some teeth and have a crown. The procedure was supposed to last four hours. Right at the beginning they suggested changing the initial plan by treating a completely different tooth. I disagreed. As a result, the dentist left under the pretense of some urgent business and I was asked to move to another room. I was hurt and felt awfully insulted. While I was nervously and completely at a loss waiting in another room with my mouth wide open, Alina, who is the manager, came and told me to pay for the visit. I answered that I would do it after the procedure is over. The manager coldly as a robot insisted again on the payment. She was rude and explained nothing as far as the broken treatment was concerned. I was unaware of what had been done, why the plan was changed, and how could I justify the given bill. I would never recommend Harbor Dental Group. Their attitude towards customers has nothing to do with good service and can definitely lead to a nervous breakdown and leave you without a penny!

BEST dental office any one can enter. All of the staff is there not to just do their day to day job but to actually HELP YOU any way they can. This is how all offices should be which unfortunately they are not. If you have a chance to choose this office as your dentist DO SO. It is very hard to find people who genuinely care about your concern. 100000/10 . Thank you guys for helping me even when my insurance didn't cover me.

Less than a star! More like a zero! I waited an hour, then end up leaving anyone who came in after me was going getting seen. I obviously was there for reason, I was in pain and nothing was done. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

Thank goodness I found Harbor Dental. They take very good care of my dental needs. The entire staff is very professional and very kind and take extra care to make you comfortable.

Unprofessional staff,unprofessional doctors.bad behavior with patients even they don't listen what the patient says. Will never try this dirty clinic again

The front end staff are not organized. I showed up for an appointment this morning that I confirmed last week, only to be notified that the appointment had been canceled. This is the second time I have driven from Davis to be told that they made a scheduling mistake and this appointment would need to be rescheduled. This is the 4th time I have rescheduled this appointment it total.

The entire staff from the front desk to the dentists and all the staff are the best people. I always feel comfortable coming here even though its a little drive for me. =^)

If you would like to report the office or their doctors you can visit Dental board of California and file a complaint. I live in Davis and would go to west Sac to be seen by Harbor Dental. Staff is unprofessional specially Norma. Norma is rude and disrespectful and I feel she would not have treated me that way, if I were Latin decent. They are so unorganized. I was told twice the service they will provide would be cover, than I was told I have a copay. When they called to confirm appointment, I ask again what was my copayment, so I can pay them cash because I don't mind paying and supporting business especially when business are struggling in this economy, but I don't think they care or appreciate their customers. When calling to confirm appointment I was told by one person again there was no copay and by Norma there was a copayment. Norma get very irritate and cancel my appointment after I ask which one is it, so I can know the exact amount I need to bring to my appointment. When I informed her the office is giving me different answers and she told me I can find another dentist all because the were give me misleading information and I told them the staff keep giving me different answers. All I WANTED TO DO WAS PAY CASH.

Going to the dentist is scary enough. I have always dreaded going, this was the first experience I've had with any dentist that I didn't feel hardly anything while they extracted a tooth. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable the moment I walked through the door. Friendly staff and great work. Thank you Harbor Dental!

I went in for an emergency appointment, I have a broken tooth that has not let me sleep this whole weekend, I've been in pain, all they did was a cleaning and x rays.. and the dentist came in told me I needed a root canal, didn't give me anything for my pain, and just sent me away! Didn't even say "hi, how are you doing" didn't even say goodbye... she just walked up and stormed out of the room, super unprofessional! Will not be going back!
