Dr. Archie Melcher was born and raised in Metairie, LA, where he currently lives. He attended Archbishop Rummel High School and earned his Bachelor on Science from Louisiana State University. Dr. Archie then completed his training at LSU Dental School in New Orleans, earning his D.D.S. Dr. Melcher loves getting to know his patients and tailor making the best possible treatment plan to meet each individual patient's needs. He takes pride in creating a comfortable environment for his patients, and staying up to date on the latest and best treatment options, by attending various study clubs and continuing education courses. Dr. Melcher is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association. In his spare time, Dr. Melcher enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking and enjoying the great music that the city of New Orleans has to offer. He is an avid fan of the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.
