Hi, Im Dr. Hanks. I was born and raised in Utah and after a decade of adventuring and living out of state, Im so happy to finally be back home. Im a father to four sons and love spending time with my family. You can catch us cheering on our favorite sports teams, playing board games, singing in the car and joining our kids in the latest backyard game theyve invented. I also love playing basketball, daydreaming about Lake Powell, and cruising around Millcreek on my OneWheel.
Happy Tooth is important to me. Ive spent over ten years observing pediatric practices and have learned that a childs first experience at the dentist has a lasting influence on the way they view dental health for the rest of their lives. After completing dental school and residency, my family and I came back home to start the practice I wish existed for my own kids- down to every tiny but mighty detail. Im so proud of what weve built and I am so excited to share it with all of you!

Charle was an amazing assistant. She made my son and I feel like friends, so knowledgeable, professional and fun. Dr. Hanks explains everything to the patient and parents so that we are all on the same play book ;) Cool atmosphere that we always enjoy visiting! Highly recommend Happy Tooth Dental

So fun! It was our daughters first time and they did a fantastic job introducing her to the little things about the dentist, and were patient when she didn't like different new things. Definitely recommend for anyone with kids.

Steve was so good prepping my kiddo for Dr. Hanks. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a pediatric dentist. The vibe here is so relaxed and they really understand children's needs.
