We strive to get children started off on the right path in their oral health. As pediatric dentists, we are specialists or experts in dental care for children. We attend school for an additional two years beyond regular dental school and have specific knowledge about bone growth and face shapes.
Dr. Stuart Tucker received his DDS degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE. He was accepted into one of the top pediatric dentistry residencies in the nation at Cincinnati Childrens hospital. His residency gave him extensive training in well-child care and behavior guidance, sedation dentistry, operating room dental care, and a special emphasis on treatment for patients with significant medical, physical and mental conditions.
During his residency, he discovered how fulfilling it is to work with special needs children and adults and children with extensive medical conditions. He enjoys helping children from any background and feels privileged to interact with youth on a daily basis.
Dr. Stu loves being around children and is a child at heart. Bike rides, jumping on the trampoline, card games, puzzles, reading, wrestling matches (usually involving pillows), and building with LEGOs are just a few of the activities he enjoys with his own active children.
Part of pediatric dentistry includes getting your child off on the right foot with dental care helps ensure his/her healthy smile. From proper care of baby teeth to regular dental visits and dental x-rays, oral hygiene is as important for your childs teeth as it is for your own.
Our goal for every child is to be cavity-free. We work directly with parents to form a team. We provide parents with the necessary tools to prevent oral disease at home. Early education and disease prevention is a central part of our mission to give each child a confident, disease-free smile. From proper brushing and flossing to understanding fluoride and a healthy diet, our dental team is available to help.
If your child gets a cavity, prompt treatment is necessary to prevent the damage from spreading and to keep the mouth healthy. With cavity treatment in Statesville, most cavities can be fixed with white, tooth-colored fillings. Large cavities may require a Stainless Steel Crown that protects the entire tooth from future disease. Each tooth, just like each childs smile, is unique and receives a customized treatment plan.

I am beyond grateful for the entire team at Happy Teeth. We had previously went to a different dentist and it was a nightmare every single time, it had got to a point where I dreaded taking my kids to appointments. I decided to find a new dentist and came across Happy Teeth and I could not be more thankful for the patience, and kindness they have shown my children and myself. I have had many concerns and questions and Dr. Tucker has always took the time to answer all my questions and just make sure that I am comfortable as a parent. After a year of coming to Happy Teeth, they have truly earned my trust and I appreciate every single one of them!

This office is amazing with kids. I have a timid 7 year old and the staff took time to patiently and cheerfully reassure her. Allowing her to watch big sister was a game changer. The hygienist, Kaitlyn, is awesome!

I am so thankful that we found this office. Every person we have come in contact with at the office are amazingly wonferful with our William! He does not do well with dentist but you would never had thought so the entire visit! We could not be more happy!

Literally cannot recommend anyone nearly as caring, thorough, and kind as the staff at Happy Teeth. Been going since I was literally a baby, and heartbroken I'll have to look elsewhere since I'm now an adult lol! Each staff member genuinely cares for the children there, speaking from 18+ years of experience. Even with my anxiety with filling cavities, they're so patient and judgement free (and sometimes Dr.Tucker has his adorable dogs.. definitely helps). Again, cannot think of a better place for your kiddos. Beyond highly recommend :)

Very wonderful experience with all three of my kids. All three left the office super happy and excited to come back. My youngest son said he loved that place because they were so patient. I definitely recommend Happy Teeth!

The staff and Dr. Tucker are absolutely the best to take your child to for dentistry. They are very caring, always smiling, and always on time. Lesley has always been great. Dr Tucker has been awesome with my son and suggesting alternatives before he needs braces. The only thing bad I can say about the office is it's sad not to see some of the old office staff there anymore. I still think the new office staff is great too. I recommend this office to everyone with kids!

My grandsons were happy and enjoyed going to the dentist's office. They were delighted, and everything was great. One of them got a tooth repaired that was accidentally broken off. He was happy that it was fixed.

The staff and Dr. Tucker are very friendly and did great with my daughter! They even have a therapy dog to help calm their nervous patients which I think is awesome!! My daughter also loved the balloon and gift bag. Would definitely recommend!!

The absolute best pediatric dentist office. My 4 year old daughter is always suuuuper nervous but as soon as we get back there everyone makes her feel so welcome and safe. "It wasn't scary at all!!" She said. Also they hands down give the best prizes 10/10
