Dr. Palak Pandya DDS is a gentle, caring and compassionate dentist. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from prestigious New York University, college of dentistry. Originally from India, she achieved her Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) in a 5 year rigorous program. She chose dentistry because she strongly believes that oral health care has a tremendous impact in our overall general health. She has been involved in the field of dentistry for over 10 years and has provided dental care in various dental setups including high volume hospitals, private and corporate practices in the state of Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Dr. Pandya is constantly learning as much as she can to expand her skills. She spends a lot of time studying from world renowned dentists who are at the cutting edge of the profession and by taking multiple courses each year. She truly believes in making people smile. She is a good listener, understands about patients' concerns, and responds with the best treatment option for them. She has extensive experience to treat all age groups, from 6 month-old infants to 104 year old senior citizens.
Dr. Pandya holds memberships with the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry. As someone who was afraid of the dentist as a child, Dr. Pandya knows what it's like to be the patient so she strives to make the experience as easy as possible. She is very dedicated to making everyone feel like family.
When Dr. Pandya is not practicing dentistry, she loves traveling, reading and spending time with her husband, Nilay and 1 year old beautiful daughter, Anaya. She is excited to welcome you all to her state-of-the-art dental office at 30, Orchard St, Dover, NJ-07801

I went in for severe tooth/gum pain. They told me I needed a filling and a prescription mouth wash. However, she said she could not do the filling same day, so I had to make another appointment for 3 weeks later. She also said she wouldn't give me the mouth wash until that second appointment.... Please tell me why I came in just for them to tell me the problem and then do nothing about it? Now I'm supposed to sit in pain for several weeks with no solutions or help? I went somewhere else and they prescribed me the mouth wash same day and did the filling. This new place I went to was also confused as to why Happy Smiles Dental could not just give me the mouth wash same day. I will never go back here! What a waste of time.

I was in terrible pain for 2 days and I called the clinic , they were able to get me in quickly the same day. Dr Pandya diagnosed it and prescribed antibiotics. She took her time with cleaning which is very important to me, was very impressed. Overall great job , nice people

I made an appointment weeks prior through Zocdoc. I got a call from the office advising me they needed to change the time because it was before they opened which was fine with me. I told the individual at the time to verify my insurance info because they were 40 miles from me and they were the only ones who came up accepting my plan. Imagine my disappointment when I drove 40 miles to my appointment to wait 30 minutes then be told they called my insurance and they don't accept my plan. Something I asked to be verified the day after I made the appointment. They were given all of my information to verify my insurance coverage before my appointment and chose not to even after I specifically asked. They office seems clean, waiting room is well kept and COVID appropriate, front desk seems friendly. I wish this wasn't a giant waste of my time especially when I asked about the exact issue they were unable to see me for.

I appreciate her giving us a late appointment Emergency. However she fractured my husbands tooth doing a root canal and when I asked to remove tooth she was out of the country. Paid another doctor and many other doctors visits had massive infection because of neglect. She only refunded me partially and she was responsible for all her wrong doing not fair .but now I know for next time .
