Dr. Alireza Hamidzadeh, DDS, MS, an Adjunct Professor at Walter Reed National Medical Center, is a comprehensively trained dentist serving patients of Clarksburg/Urbana Maryland at Happy Smiles Dental. Dr. H offers both cosmetic and medical-dental services including dental implants, dentures, veneers and smile designs, tooth whitening, braces, and more advanced procedures such as gum and laser surgeries, root canal therapy and urgent care. After having worked as an engineer for many years, Dr. Hamidzadeh became fascinated with the intricacies of the human body and medical sciences as he viewed it as the most advanced machinery ever created. Dr. H graduated with high honors from the University of New York, School of Dentistry. He continued his studies through a rigorous board selected DoD specialty in Comprehensive Dentistry at Carl R. Darnall Medical Center in Texas. Dr. H has extensive training in pain management, providing his patients with a high level of comfort during procedures. As a Veteran, he values the honor, integrity and the concept of Service before Self which is evident in his many years of practice. Dr. Hamidzadeh is welcoming new patients and looks forward to serving the community at Happy Smiles Dental.
Dr. Nadereh Nasr is a graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry. She is highly accomplished and a skilled practitioner who provides a wide range of comprehensive dental services in caring for our patients. Dr. Nasr earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park and Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. She holds professional memberships in the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Nasr is committed to staying current with the latest in technology in order to provide the greatest health benefit to patients. She enjoys going to concerts, hiking, cooking, and traveling to new places with her beloved puppy Kara.
Lived in 3 continents, Dr Hilmi grew up with a love for aesthetics. She enjoys helping people and making them feel better, with an appreciation for cultural diversity. After her Bachelor degree of Dental Surgery (BDS), she earned her DMD in Rutgers University (University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey) & her Advanced Education in General Dentistry from NYU College Of Dentistry. She then found her passion in Facial Esthetics (Botox & Fillers) and enjoys combining general dentistry with Esthetics, making people feel better about themselves in an artistic way while maintaining their natural beauty. After her training in Facial Aesthetics in NJ, and to perfect her techniques in Facial injectables of Dermal Fillers & Facial rejuvenation with Skin Boosting, she traveled the globe to train at world renowned clinics, such as The Consultant Clinic (UK), Julie Horne Academy (Norway), & Tom Van Eijk (Holland). She completed dental training in Invisalign, 6 Months Smiles, and Lumineer veneers. Made an emergency appointment online and was called immediately to be seen sooner. Laura and Roxanne were friendly and all smiles. Very happy I recommend.

My husband HATES the dentist and avoided them at all costs!! Until he found happy smiles!! I started feeling discomfort made an appointment and had a prescription for antibiotics and a treatment plan in the first 5 minutes of my appointment!! The staff is so friendly and going the time to explain everything every step of the way!!!

Dr. Nasr was amazing both in professionalism and quality of work. I personally hate going to the dentist but the staff and the Dr. were/are so amazing that I'm for sure not only recommending them but will come for other services.

Doctor Nasr is the most wonderful , kind and compassionate professional I have ever met. My mom, 73 years old, spanish speaking, had a severe case of periodontal disease with severe infection in many teeth and Doctor N helped her and treated her immediately after other dentists wanted to wait up to 2 months for deep cleaning insurance's approval. My mom and I were in tears due to gratefulness. After one month revision, my mom's oral health has improved drastically. Since we run out of insurance funds, Doctor Nasr not only gave us a discount on needed antibiotic that insurance doesn't cover , but she also gave us a discount on our next visit in December so we don't have to wait for insurance funds until January 2023. Dr. N really cares about the well being of her patients. She is the best professional with a heart of gold ! Thank you so much Dr. N! Highly recommended!

Dr. H is very informative and is very gentle with his patients. My appointment was scheduled very quickly. Dr. H was compassionate while performing a professional service procedure. I was very happy with the service I received. The rates are reasonable and very competitive. He has a new customer now in my family & I !!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone in the office is courteous and welcoming. They explained what work I needed done without judgement and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I usually dread going to the dentist but they make it pleasant and painless!
