Dr. Robert Everett I was born in Portland, Oregon, many years ago. At a young age, I moved to Eugene, where I graduated from Sheldon High School. From there, I went to Oregon State University where I obtained my bachelors degree. (It was a difficult decision, but I am a Beaver despite my ties to Eugene.) I attended OHSU School of Dentistry and graduated in 1978. From there, I moved to Penticton, BC, Canada, where I lived for 12 years before moving back to Oregon. I started my practice here in Gladstone in 1990. I currently live in the wonderful berg of Gladstone with my wife and stepdaughter, and I have four fantastic adult children. I am blessed that I get to work with my wife Melissa every day and doing that has drawn us closer. One day I hope to see Gladstone further progress into the future.
I work hard to keep up on the current trends and treatments adding implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, laser treatment and Invisalign, to name just a few services. I take pride in my work and stand by what I do. Dentistry is changing and we must keep up with those changes whether they are in treatment or diagnosis.
I love to take an interest in city activities. I am an active member of the local Gladstone-Oak Lodge Rotary Club. I have volunteered as chairman of the Gladstone Community Festival, a yearly event in our city, for the last 5 years. It is something I truly love, as I see how much fun the citizens have when they join in the festivities. I am also a board member of the Gladstone Senior Foundation, a group that works to advance the interests of all the seniors in our city. I follow city politics closely and find it interesting as we move forward to make a better place to live.
I have been blessed, because dentistry has been truly wonderful to me. I find it not only enjoyable but challenging. As I have often said, Each day is an adventure, you never know what the day will bring. Sometimes all of this can be a difficult task, but the one thing that keeps me going is seeing my patients every day and feeling I can do something to help them out. Saying hello and talking with everyone is the real meaning of my day.
Karlie Front Office Karlie works part time in the front office and has been with us since 2009. Besides answering the phone and scheduling, she is involved with monitoring and posting the practices social media, including Facebook and Twitter. Karlie is also Dr. Bobs daughter, and it is very nice to have her working with us.
Jennifer Dental Hygienist Jennifer, originally from Northern California, has been working as a dental hygienist for over 25 years. She is married and has two amazing daughters. Her family enjoys cooking, movies, anything outdoors and snow skiing. She enjoys interacting with the patients here while aiding and educating them to achieve optimum dental health.
Melissa Dental Assistant Melissa, Dr. Bobs wife, is a certified dental assistant who has been with the practice since 2002. She received her education from Portland Community College and continues to further her knowledge of dentistry as it moves into the future. Melissa is the lead assistant and handles not only assisting duties with care but also all of the inventory maintenance and ordering. In addition, Melissa is the practices OSHA and orthodontic treatment coordinator. She enjoys the friendly nature of the office and our patients. Melissa is a very caring individual who always strives to create a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.
Sally Hi, my name is Sally. I was born in Syracuse, N.Y. but have lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of my life. I have been a dental hygienist for 30 years. I am passionate about providing quality dental care while interacting and finding common ground with all my patients. I feel it is important to take into consideration a person total health. I tend to favor a homeopathic approach when treating patients.
I am married with one child. I truly enjoy cooking, landscape design, gardening and ballet. I feel that these interests will give me much to talk about while getting to know you and your dental needs.
