Dr. Eid is a board certified pediatric dentist, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). Dr Eid has a Masters of Science Degree and a certificate of Specialty in Pediatric Dentistry from Tufts University in Boston MA.Dr. Eid is a Diplomate of the American Orthodontic Society (AOS), and a published author on the use of Nitrous Oxide and behavior management for the Anxious child, and the restoration of Traumatized teeth.Before starting Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics, Dr. Eid was an assistant professor at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in the Pediatric Dentistry Department.Dr. Eid serves as a board examiner for American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD), and on the board of The Washington State Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (WSAPD)Dr. Eid is a member of the Rotary Club of Longview, and is a past president.Hani enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and the occasional Ironman triathlon.
Dr. Sukhi is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a graduate degree in Dental Science and pediatric dental specialty training from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Newark, NJ. She also completed a fellowship in pediatric dentistry with a focus on infant oral care, from UCLA, CA. At a resident doctor while at Rutgers she worked with severely medically compromised patients and children with developmental challenges.
Dr. Sukhi discovered her love for children early on, and spent a lot of her time during high school with children at an orphanage, and students with visual impairments. She also volunteered for the Special Olympics, community outreach programs in India, and mission trips to the Dominican Republic.When not in the office, she can be found reading, cooking, hiking, traveling, practicing yoga or taking a walk with her husband.
Dr. J completed his pediatric residency program at Tufts University, Boston, MA. He is trained in sedation, treating nervous children and working with those who have special health care needs. As a father of two, Dr. J understands the importance of a child-centric approach, which makes him sensitive to the needs and temperament of young people.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In his leisure time, he enjoys music, soccer, photography, chess, and traveling with his family.
Dr. Douglas is a pediatric dentistry specialist with a master's degree and certificate from the University of Washington. He originally is from Iowa, where he completed dental school, but now he is very proud to call Washington his home.
During his training, Dr. Douglas had extensive experience helping children of all ages with a wide range of dental and medical needs. He emphasizes a laid-back, fun dental environment to make children and parents feel at ease.
Dr. Mai is a board eligible pediatric dentist who hails from sunny Southern California and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. She attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and received her pediatric dental training at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego through NYU Langone Hospital.
Dr. Mai's goal is for every child to leave the office with a better understanding of proper oral hygiene and a smile on their face. When she's not in the office, she enjoys salsa dancing with her husband, singing with her daughter and looking up real estate and interior design ideas on the internet.
Dr. Narges is a board eligible Pediatric Dentist who graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in Biology. She attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree and received her Pediatric Dentistry training. During her residency, Dr. Narges received extensive training in treating special needs pediatric patients in a clinical and operating room setting. Her favorite things about pediatric dentistry is promoting proper oral health by advocating for early preventive care and minimally invasive treatment.
When not treating patients in the clinic, Dr. Narges enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful teenage children. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and baking. Dr. Narges is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Esam is a highly skilled and regarded dentist in Portland and Vancouver with more than 10 years of dental experience. He is an active member of many national and local professional organizations: ADA, AARD, AAE, WSDA, and CCDS.
In addition to his expertise in general dentistry, he specializes in advanced restorative and endodontic care. He enjoys educating patients about the importance of oral health while helping them create healthy and beautiful smiles.

Dr. Eid was great and very understanding with my 6 year old who is disabled. However, I'm giving 4 stars because there are no private rooms, so you can hear every other conversation being had with other patients. Also, their "rooms" aren't exactly wheelchair accessible making for a very tight squeeze.

very friendly staff but a total madhouse! I couldn't even hear my children's names being called back for their appt. I likened it to having your plane board in one minute and you are on the opposite side of the airport; that's how rushed they are! They have the equipment needed for children, which is the only reason that I would recommend them.

Staff was friendly like always, but they were clearly way behind. Waited over 30 minutes past the appointment time to be called back. Receptionist was great and apologized that they were shorthanded. Treated my daughter great like always, but were out of big kid tooth brushes. Daughter was kind of bummed she didn't get the usual swag..... even kids love free stuff

The staff is super friendly and the space looks amazing! My issue is they are very fast paced, even over stimulating and the dentists are not very thorough. Cavities were over looked for both my kiddos. My youngest did have to be put under to get dental work done for cavities I had brought to their attention (they missed the early signs at his check up). His sealants and fillings did not last long at all that's with consistent brushing. The team was extremely quick during my sons fillings and at check ups. I think they could have been a lot more thorough. We went to another dentist shortly after my youngest had his fillings here and we found that there were a lot of things overlooked previously for both my kids. Overall I think that the staff is great & it was a very fun enviorment, but the dentists are very rushed to see a large amount of patients in a short amount of time & should take more time with their patients so the quality of the dental work is better. I feel like hiring more dentists or not over scheduling would really improve patient car.

They got my daughter in quick for a sore tooth. They were super nice and understanding! They gave us amazing care and even gave her a balloon and a toy at the end! Will definitely be going back!

I am very dissatisfied with my sons care at happy kids dentistry. My son had a cap and a few fillings done at happy kids, months down the line my son had severe pain in the capped tooth. We went back to happy kids to see what the issue was, the dentist looked at it for one minute and said we needed to go to an endodontist as he may need a root canal and he can't do anything with a permanent tooth. We pay out of pocket and have paid happy kids almost $2000 at this point. Weeks later of my son being in pain we finally see the endodontist who says the tooth is alive and we need to go back to Happy Kids to resolve the issue. This time we see another dentist at Happy Kids who can tell the tooth is alive and gives us antibiotics to treat the possible issue. It has been almost 2 months between the first appointment and this last appointment. It has been months of my son being in pain, going back and forth between dentists, additional money out of pocket when this could have been resolved if the dentist took the time on our visit in January.

I can't thank Doctor Eid and his staff (we love Amanda!) enough for their superior care in a difficult situation. Their response when my daughter fainted was fast and thorough and left us both feeling safe and supported. Not to mention clean happy teeth. Thank you!

There are no words for the exemplification of honorable service these people give our youth and parents . All the staff are above and beyond caring and genuine with their love and nurturing abilities to the children they work on . I feel so comfortable and know I can ask any questions I need and discuss things I need to discuss. We laugh and share stories and I love that about this place,your always family with these people . I love you guys .

Called to cancel appointment, but couldn't. If the other parent doesn't add you to the kids account, you're treated like you're a stranger, even if you verify the kids DOB, and they offer no help to fix it. Therefore, this gas lights the parent into them denying parenthood of the child. A little frustrating when you work hard, provide and are the true parent of your kid. Who does this? Next time, I'd validate them as the other parent and offer suggestions on how to rectify the situation to help enforce YOUR policy instead of saying there is nothing we can do and treated like a stranger. Offer to help contact the other party, or make sure 2 parents are on the account at time of sign up and get that fixed. Now that would be common sense, and service you would expect from a 5 star joint.
