As a mother herself, Dr. Patty understands how important it is to know that your child is in caring hands. She combines her mothers touch with her research experience, academic background, and clinical skills to deliver the best possible care to her patients.
After completing her Masters Degree in Pediatric Dentistry at the prestigious University of Sao Paulo Brazil in 2001, Dr. Patty moved to the United States where she taught, lectured and performed research at Tufts University in Boston, MA and Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Biomaterials Research Center. In 2009, Dr. Patty earned her Doctorate Degree in Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University. Two years later she completed 2 years of residency in Pediatric Dentistry where she provided treatment for patients at Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital and at several NSU pediatric dental clinics.
Dr. Patty is the author of several articles published in dental journals and has lectured nationally and internationally at dental conventions. She regularly attends conferences and seminars in order to remain current on the latest treatments, new technologies and patient care practices.

The office is beautiful, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor and hygienist did amazing with my 2.5 year old and my wiggly, fussy 1 year old. I would highly recommend!

Dr. Patty and her staff were so helpful for our two daughters. She advised is properly in therapy first before our surgeries. She takes personal time to check on them after surgery. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I was dreading bringing my daughter to her first dentist visit. This office and staff is awesome and definitely made sure my daughter felt safe and cared for. They took the time to show her each instrument they would be using before her procedure. Very happy with the experience!

My 5 yr old daughter was super nervous for her first dental visit. Once she saw the prize wall she started to smile. She surprisingly did great for her cleaning. She laid down & got to watch her favorite show. She loves going to the dentist now, thank you so much Dr. Patty!

I was pleased to come across happy grins pediatric dentistry! The office was very kid friendly. They atmosphere was great starting from the front desk. The assistant & dentist made sure to make my Son feel comfortable. He received a balloon & a toy. He told his cousin he can't wait to go back.

This was a wonderful experience with kind and caring office staff, hygienists, and of course the Dentist. Can't say enough great things about how comfortable our daughter felt having it be her first time and not feeling scared to return!

I could not be more thankful for Dr. Patty and Happy Grins for their impeccable care of my sweet girl. My husband and I brought our 2 week old daughter in to get a suspected lip tie looked at. She quickly diagnosed her with a lip tie and possible posterior tongue tie. We were able to do some oral physical therapy for a few weeks then finally her tie revision. They took her back for a mere 1 minute for her laser revision until they brought her back to us. They were so great with her! Afterwards Dr. Patty helped explain how her recovery would go and how to do the post procedure mouth stretches. The environment there is so peaceful and the office is happy, colorful, and so clean! So thankful we found them and got rid of those horrible ties! Our girl is happier than ever and a great little feeder! Absolutely love this pediatric dentist! They are so kind and patient with all 3 of our kids. Dr. Patty is very thorough and always explains everything she does while she's doing it. The office staff are all amazing and so helpful with any questions you may have. By far the best pediatric dentist I've taken my kids to!

This dental team is a delight. They are an oasis among medical providers. Easiest 30 min of my day by far. I wish they had a grown up version that us parents could go to as well. My toddler asked if he could go back soon!

Dr.Patty and her staff are so friendly! There is never a wait for appointments and they make the dentist fun. My daughter had to get a cavity filled and Dr.patty made her feel comfortable and answered all her little questions!
