Dr. Cruz M Ceino was born in Dominican Republic where she completed her dental studies at Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo. She then went to University of Puerto Rico as a foreign student and did her specialty of Pediatric Dentistry. She moved back to the Dominican Republic and began her practice there. A few years later she moved back to Puerto Rico and had to start her schooling again to receive her D.M.D. diploma. She moved to Tampa and opened her Dental Practice in July 2010. In November 2017 Dr. Ceino opened a second dental practice in the Brandon area. She has a strong commitment to help the underserved community in their dental needs.
Dr. Gonzalez completed his dental studies at the University of Havana School of Dentistry in Cuba before working in Venezuela and coming to the United States. He completed additional training at the University of Florida Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He is dedicated to treating patients of all ages comprehensively. He knows the dental office and treatment can be intimidating. In his compassionate and gentle way, he dedicates his time and care to each patient so they have a positive experience. In his free time, Dr. Gonzalez likes to travel, be outdoors, take care of his saltwater aquarium, and spend time with family and friends.
Dr. Evans completed her dental education at Nihon University School of Dentistry in Japan and continued her training at the University of Florida. Dr. Evans enjoys treating children and puts emphasis on patients having a positive experience so they can have a good relationship with the dental office for life. A mother to children herself, she understands children are not just small adults but has different needs. She is a strong supporter of a team approach to prevention so good habits can be made at home. In her spare time when not taking care of the little ones at home, she enjoys watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Navarro is a dual certified dental specialist in Orthodontics and DentoFacial Orthopedics and Pediatric Dentistry. He was born in Managua, Nicaragua and moved to Florida when he was 11 years old to start a new life full of dreams and hope. He played baseball at Nova High School in Davie, Florida where he won the Florida State Championship played at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. Baseball opened the doors to an education at LaGrange College in Georgia where he played baseball for four years and earned an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry.

Today was my first visit with Happy family Dental. It was a great experience. Everyone was super nice. Everything was explained in detail. Will continue going onto them with my treatment.

I've taken my kids here several times for routine cleanings/exams. Every time we've had to wait at least 20 minutes, sometimes up to an hour, past their appointment times. Yesterday did it for me though. One appointment was at 2:30, the other at 3. We arrived at 2:36. Yes, 6 minutes after the first appointment time, but like I said, we've had to wait every time so it shouldn't have been a big deal. The scheduler/receptionist said the first appointment was at 2, not 2:30. I knew the appointment card had said 2:30, all the text reminders I had received had said 2:30, it was definitely 2:30! She wanted to argue with me. So she said they could only do one of my kids, not both. I'm a busy mom, I schedule both on the same day so I don't have to make a special trip and waste time and gas. Whatever, do one kid. Well, the appointment was for 3 PM. They finally took her back at 3:25!! 25 minutes past her appointment time. So it's ok to make us wait, but if we're running a few minutes late, the appointment has to be rescheduled? Is my time not as valuable as yours?? Frustrating and infuriating to say the least. I was determined to prove the first appointment was supposed to have been at 2:30, so I went out to my car to look for the appointment card. I found it......2:30 PM, just like I thought. So I took it back in to show the receptionist who wanted to argue with me. She said, "Yes, it says 2:30, but you arrived at 2:45." !!! OK, so now you want to lie about what time I arrived?? While we waited for my daughter, we were the only ones in the waiting room, only car in the parking lot. So why couldn't they take my other daughter whose appointment had been at 2:30?? I'm so done with this place. They have no regard or respect for your time. Dentists are a dime a dozen. I'll take my kids somewhere else.

Don't recommend this place at all. It's not kid friendly and if you don't like something and you let them know they will not set your child another appointment. Oh and will not find that out until you go to schedule appointment with them. They also tried to keep getting money from me until I said something when the service never got done on my child's mouth but them referred me to another location that I love and is kid friendly and also patient. They also don't let you go to the back while your child is getting service done on their mouth red flag and want to get mad because you don't want to wait in the front.

It's a no for me. Any dentist office that won't allow you to go back with your kids for fill ins, X-rays and cleanings raises red flags. Why would I ever allow anyone to be with my small child at his age? I don't know you, or your morals. It's a doctor appointment and I am my child's advocate. I suggest not being creepy and disgusting by not allowing a parent to stay with THEIR child. Beware parents- any DR who doesn't allow this has a alternative motive here.

Seems funny if you miss a routine appointment they reschedule four months out like there isn't available spots before then...we will find some where else to take business if that's what you wanted for us to do.

Whole office was super friendly, and went out of their way to help when we were in a emergency time-sensitive situation. I'm pretty sure the dentist gave up his lunch break to save the day, and we could not be more grateful.
