Dr. A lives in Katy with his lovely wife and two children. They love the family friendly life in Katy and can be spotted eating at Katys favorite local joints and visiting its numerous parks. In his free time, his favorite hobbies include volunteering, participating in dental outreach, keeping up with sports, practicing Pilates, biking, and traveling. I went to them for tooth extraction for my 5 year old daughter. It was a good experience Dr Khan is amazing with kids and the nurses are great too.

I took my baby to his first dental appointment and Dr. Khan was very gentle, caring and informative. He answered our questions and made the appointment as quick and painless as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Khan and his team!

Just great! Took my two sons (one of the a 5 year old on the austism spectrum) and I couldn't be happier. Great staff, great doctor. Spent a lot of time with them and treated them with a lot of respect and love. I highly recommend them.

Amazing service! My 3 year hit her face a few days ago and I noticed her front tooth was graying! They immediately got me in the day I call, even though, it was the dr's day off....he still came in! Thank you for providing us with such great service!!

Honestly, the Best experience ever! My little one has always had bad dental anxiety and she always cries as soon as we walk in a dentist office. She did SO good on her X-rays and cleaning and did it alone and no tears at all. When she told me she cannot wait to go back for her next visit, It made me feel great finding their new dental home. My 3 children loved this office! The assistants and front desk were so sweet! And the office is so clean and modern. Very colorful for children. Thank you Happy Chompers for a wonderful experience!!

We JUST left, we took our son to get his lip and tongue ties released and we were very iffy on the procedure entirely. We verbally declined cutting anything more than his lip and tongue. They said there was a miscommunication but there was not as I remember stating MANY times that we would not be releasing any buccal ties, only his lip and tongue. He comes out obviously upset and distressed. They came in to discuss and she mentioned buccal ties, my husband and I were just confused why they did it after we said no and they said that when we do the lip it includes the buccal ties. Wrong. I have never seen that in all of the research I did prior AND again, we declined cutting buccal ties. Saying the buccal ties "are part of the lip" does not excuse them going against our requests. That's why they are called buccal ties and not the lip. I got him calm and then they came in to do the stretches and made him upset again. I will not sugar coat anything because I want other parents to be entirely informed before they put their child through this. Your child will be swaddled AND strapped down, the lip is done first. They say that you are not allowed to go back with YOUR baby but you are, you just have to request it. If they say no, PLEASE go somewhere else that will let you. It will be hard to watch but my husband was IN the room and they still did more than we consented to. Now my 2 month old son has more healing and pain. Your baby will scream, they numb them but there is still pain and they don't like to be handled they way they are. Their tongue has to be clamped and I have had my tongue pierced and know that the tongue clamp is not painless. You can also smell burning flesh during the procedure. My baby was straining so hard he pooped and he was only gone for about 7 minutes. Therefore, that is why I have given a one star review, because of all the above. We didn't even want to do the lip because we didn't want to put him through more than he needed to be and there they go doing even more. Otherwise I believe everything else was okay. And I don't not recommend this place as everything else was great. They are all kind and I would be okay bringing them back if they ever needed dental treatment, just want to warn any parents choosing the route of oral tie release to be even more clear about what you're wanting done. I thought I was clear enough but somehow not.

We came into Happy Chompers after my 18-month old daughter fell and hit her mouth and knocked out her 2 lower canines (almost, they were still hanging from her gums). It was a very scary situation for us. She was bleeding a lot and crying/screaming. We called our pediatrician who said we take her immediately to the dentist. They mentioned Happy Chompers and since we live close by, we rushed there. They refused to see our daughter right away saying they had other appointments and wouldn't be able to see her for 40 minutes. Imagine showing up with your screaming child, her mouth and your shirt full of blood, 2 teeth barely hanging and being treated like nothing is wrong. If I would've known they don't care, I would've never stopped there. We found another dentist close to La Centerra who saw us immediately as an emergency and extracted her 2 teeth because he was worried she would inhale them, which would cause a very serious medical condition. I'm still in disbelief with the way Happy Chompers dismissed us.

My son had his first dental visit today. Everyone was very kind and polite from the moment we walked in. My son was a little nervous, but the girls were very patient with him and explained everything. Dr. A is fantastic, caring, and kind. I never felt rushed the entire visit. They truly care about their patients and making sure it's a good experience. Thanks Dr. A and team!

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Dr. A and his staff at Happy Chompers. My 5 year old had some extensive dental work done, and I was very nervous. Dr A and his sweet staff went above and beyond to make us both feel so comfortable. My daughter had a wonderful experience and still loves the dentist!

There isn't enough wonderful things I could say about Dr Khan and his team . My son has high anxiety when it comes to the dentist even taking an X-ray is difficult for him . Dr Khan and his staff are beyond patient and understanding. I am in complete shock my son allowed treatment , parents out there give happy Chompers a chance you will not regret it I'm one happy and grateful mom .

We've been going to Dr. A since he opened and I still can't say enough positive things about him and his team! They are all super nice, help the kids feel comfortable and go above and beyond each time. You can definitely tell he loves his job and all the patients!

A lot of places have 5-star reviews because they haggle their clients/patients until the client/patient reviews to get the requests to stop.. not this place. They've rightfully earned every 5-star review. My son can become so dysregulated we spend months trying to get him back to a safe, level place. Every second of his visit he was carefully considered and that means he can access the dental care he needs and we don't spend weeks trying to help him regulate again. Very grateful for this office from reception, dental assistants, hygienists and the dentist- they're filling a huge void in the community and my family is so grateful for them.

I would highly recommend this place. Dr. Khan and is staff go above and beyond to accommodate you and your needs. They make you feel like family. My son needed 4 crowns and some fillings done. Dr. Khan was able to do it all in 2 sessions instead of the 3 needed. My 5 year old son loves going to the dentist even after getting his teeth worked on. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist looks no further! 10/10 for sure.
