Dr. Happiness Nwobu graduated from New York Universitys (NYU) College of Dentistry then completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Bronx Lebanon Center inNew York. Upon completion of training, she worked for 12 years as an associate for a large, multi-specialty private practice, where she has treated thousands of diverse patients and then went on to be an associate at other private offices.
Her passion for providing comprehensive care to her patients is only matched by her commitment to lifelong dental education. She has maintained this commitment by completing the rigorous, 2-year, post-doctoral Full Mouth Reconstruction program at New York University, a prestigious fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and thousands of Continuing Dental Education hours.
Dr. Happiness has taken her passions for connecting with her patients on a personal level, mastering modern dental practices and providing comprehensive dental care to establish Happy Smile Dental & Associates LLC in South Orange, NJ-an inviting, state-of-the-art multi-specialty practice that embodies her values of family, comfort, health and a lifestyle befitting of her first name.
When not treating patients, Dr. Happiness loves spending time and travelingwith her husband and three daughters, and enjoys cooking and participating as an active member and leader in her church community. She is fully committed to providing for less-privileged children and teens locally and abroad.

She kept asking me for my age and why I was there, almost like I was loitering haha. It was an awkward visit, but otherwise not bad.

Exceptional dentist. Dr. Happiness Nwobu is a wonderful dentist who is patient-centered in every sense of the word: she is thorough, welcoming, and patient. I was really impressed by the fact that she takes the time to explain every procedure to you. She takes great care to walk you through the entire visit and treatment process--from before you enter to the details of the work that will be done to the insurance and billing particulars. There were no surprises. Her staff is also wonderful--caring, and, like her, thorough. The office is cheery yet low-key. And now, in the time of COVID, I especially appreciate a dentist like Dr. Nwobu, who takes great pains to ensure that we are not only safe, but comfortable in our visit.

My kids and I have had very pleasant experiences with Dr. Happiness and her staff. The boys are excited every time that we visit the office and though I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, my prospective has certainly changed. I highly recommend Dr. Happiness and her staff.

I can honestly say this is the best dentist I've been to. The staff are extremely pleasany, and took the time to walk me through the details, from insurance cost to the dental procedures. The waiting area is really nice... Also, the place was teched out. The equipment appeared, at least to me, cutting edge. Niceness and a pretty looking office is one thing, providing quality service is another. I gotta hand it to them... l was most impressed with how knowledgeable the Dentist was. It's one thing to dabble services and prop them up so the at a client would buy. I did a bunch of research prior to going in and while I'm not a medical professional, I think I had enough information to not be duped. I asked a litany of questions, which were carefully answered. I appreciated that so much. Professionals should always handle their customers concerns with care. In addition to that, the dentist did not upsell me on anything. In fact, she encouraged sensible choices. Finally, and I'm done talking now, I was more than satisfied with the work done on my teeth. No pain during or after my procedures. Talk about a reason to smile... I am very pleased. I highly recommend Happiness Dentists.

Dr Happy is very kind and always willing to help her patients as opposed to some doctors just looking to make money off you. Her office and staff are top notch and everything looks so clean and sterile. Very reassuring. Especially for someone that hasn't been to a dentist in some years.

To start, the exterior and interior of this office are modern, clean, and visually pleasing. The entire staff displays tremendous professionalism dealing with anxieties, medical care, and all concerns of one's dental visit. Dr. Happiness provided extreme patience, knowledge, and compassion while working on my teeth. She is truly one of a kind! I highly recommend this office for all dental procedures. Trust me, you will be satisfied with your final results.
