We strive to make your family feel at home. Our child-friendly office has a play area, and we love to give our younger patients extra care to make sure that positive dental visits start as young as possible. To help our patients relax, our treatment rooms have blankets, TVs, and headphones.

We also enjoy giving back to our community and love to support the younger generation in their journey of healthy smiles for life. In 2012, Dr. Aleeahna Phan moved to Austin and realized that uninsured children in the community lacked access to oral healthcare. It was then Dr. Phan and her husband, Thomas, founded Hapii-n-Healthy Smiles, Inc. This nonprofit organization provides free checkups and cleanings for children under age 17 who do not have dental insurance. Dr. Phan and her husband have plans to broaden their organization in the future to include other areas of health care/programs to help children in need.

Dr. Aleeahna Phan grew up in Biloxi, MS. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and minor in biology from the University of San Francisco, she continued her education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2011.

In 2012, Dr. Phan relocated to Austin. She quickly realized a need in the Austin community for uninsured childrens access to oral healthcare. It was then that Dr. Phan and her husband Thomas founded Hapii-n-Healthy Smiles, Inc., a nonprofit organization for uninsured children under the age of 17 that provides free checkups and cleanings.

Dr. Phan is a member of the American Dental Association and was named one of America's Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council of America in 2015, 2016, and 2017. In her spare time, Dr. Phan enjoys traveling, watching NFL football, especially the New Orleans Saints, and trying new local restaurants with her husband and new daughter Ava.

Dr. Krystal Liu grew up in Los Angeles, CA. Graduating at the top of her class, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Liu moved to Austin to be closer to family and joined the Daylight Dental team in early 2018. Dr. Liu takes pride in building trusting relationships to put our patients at ease. She combines skill with compassion to provide the best possible care. Dr. Liu has made patient education her top priority so our patients can make the best decision for their oral health.

Additionally, Dr. Liu enjoys giving back to the community. For several years she volunteered at the AYUDA Humanitarian Dental and Medical Organization in Los Angeles, CA, where she provided oral health care to underprivileged patients in the community. Currently, she participates in the Hapii-n-Healthy Smiles Program, providing free exams and cleanings to uninsured children.

Dr. Liu is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Liu enjoys learning and practicing the Spanish language, exploring new restaurants, cooking, swimming, and watching movies.

Our office manager Susannah moved to Texas in 2003 and completed her Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 2010. Susannah has been in the dental field for over seven years and has worked at Daylight Dental since it opened.

She has held most positions in a dental office from dental assistant to billing manager, and in 2015, Susannah continued her education at Texas Womens University Dental Hygiene Program. She thoroughly enjoys educating our patients on oral hygiene home care and is happy to answer any questions patients may have about their upcoming procedures or insurance benefits.

Additionally, Susannah is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers. In her spare time, Susannah likes spending time with her family and new fianc, Tim, as well as reading and traveling.

Olivia is our office manager. She grew up in Miami, FL, and moved to Austin for school in 2015. Olivia graduated from St. Edwards University and attended the Texas Academy of General Dentistrys dental assisting program. As she has experience being a dental assistant, she is very helpful in answering all of our patients clinical questions on the phone. Olivias kind and friendly demeanor put patients at ease when they are greeted by her at the door. Olivias favorite part of her job is giving people a reason to smile. In her free time, she likes to play soccer and hang out with her dog Russ.

Ada is a native Austinite and recently graduated from Austin Dental Assisting School in 2017. She finds working in the dental field extremely rewarding as she gets to care for patients of all ages and loves making a difference in their lives through their smiles. In her free time, Ada likes to go to her childrens sporting events and she loves to shop.

Gissel grew up in El Paso, Texas and in 2015, she moved to Austin. Gissel graduated from El Paso Dental Assisting School and plans to go to dental hygiene school in the near future. She is very passionate about dentistry and enjoys teaching patients how to keep their smiles healthy. In her free time, Gissel likes to hang out with friends, go on road trips, and explore new restaurants.

Yaquelin is our newest clinical dental assistant. She was born and raised in Austin and recently graduated from Texas Dental Assistant School. Yaquelin loves meeting new patients and takes pride in the fact that she helps improve smiles every day. In her spare time, Yaquelin likes to spend time with her family and fianc Jonny.
