As an orthodontist, I understand the significance of the trust that patients and their families place in me. I am absolutely committed to providing the best possible care with customized treatment plans for all our patients. I am blessed to be in a profession that allows me the opportunity to meet so many great people and build new friendships on a daily basis!
Before I became an orthodontist, I acquired my DDS in 2004 from New York University. I then attained my Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics from University of Maryland in 2007. I have served the families in our community since then.
I make it a priority to attend numerous conferences such as the annual American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) sessions and regional Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontists (MASO) meetings. I'm also involved in local orthodontic study clubs. Continuing education is a critical part of my dedication to giving my patients the best treatment possible. Being current on the latest advancements in contemporary orthodontics allows me to integrate proven treatment modalities into my treatment plans to create beautiful smiles.
I love being able to have a positive influence on the well-being of my patients. I find it immensely rewarding to see the positive impact that orthodontics has on my patient's confidence and self-esteem as they progress in treatment. My favorite part of my job is getting to know my patients on an individual basis and being able to build lifelong friendships with them. We consider each patient a part of our extended family, and treat them that way. We want each patient to feel comfortable and at home in our office!
When Im not practicing orthodontics, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My family and I love camping and hiking together, and spend a lot of time outdoors. I also enjoy cooking and gardening in my spare time.

I arrived 15 minutes early and got back in an exam room prior to my actual appointment time. The office was fast paced yet I still felt I had a proper amount of time for my consultation and felt Dr. Hao was very thorough. Everyone was nice. Awesome staff.

The staff are very friendly. If they are running behind, they explain why and apologize. Dr. Hao is awesome with kids. He puts their mind at ease and makes them feel comfortable.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Hao's office. I have never waited in the waiting room longer then 5 minutes and the staff and especially Dr. Hao are always so friendly. I will always refer people to Dr. Hao.

This office is caring for both of my children and they are great. They are very professional, know their stuff and explain to both the kids and us parents what is going on at each appointment. Their support staff is awesome and they are always running on time. All the things you would want from your health care provider!

Hao Orthodontics is a well-oiled machine! It is organized, efficient, friendly, helpful, and professional. It is a treat to be seen each time we go! I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else for orthodontic care.

Dr. Hao and his staff are wonderful! I would highly recommend them to anyone considering orthodontic work. Dr. Hao is easy to talk to and genuinely cares about his patients. The front desk staff and technicians were always helpful and friendly. Appointments were always prompt. I am thrilled with the outcome of my Invisalign and would definitely recommend this practice without reservation.

Due to the type of fracture and my other medical issues Dr. Hao didn't recommend braces or surgery. I really appreciated his explanation and honest expert opinion. This man shows a lot of integrity and ethics and I wish he could be my regular dentist!

Dr. Hao has an excellent bedside manner. He is engaged and very efficient. He really cares about his patients and not just getting the money. His staff is always friendly as well. I would say he is the best Orthodontist on this side of the globe.
