One of my greatest passions as an orthodontist is making people happy by helping to instill a feeling of self-confidence through a beautiful and well-deserved smile. There is nothing more rewarding than treating a quiet, shy, introverted child, watching him or her open up once treatment is complete. Another great perk to my work in orthodontics is meeting new people, learning about them, and developing a friendly relationship that lasts through time. All of my patients are fun to work with and everyone has a story to tell. My patients become a part of the family here at our practice, which makes for an extremely enjoyable atmosphere.
I have been living in Long Island, New York for 30 years. I am happily married to my wife, Toby, and we have six kids, Emily, Ari, Michael, Cheryl, Steven, and Sara. When Im not working, I enjoy bike riding, snorkeling, and photography. I am a board member at one of my sons schools as well as many other community boards.
I have been practicing for 15 years, graduating from New York University with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and then from Temple University with a Master of Science in Dentistry/Orthodontic Certification. I stay abreast of the latest dental techniques and practices through continuing education, attending the annual meetings of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists and the American Academy of Orthodontists. My practice is Suresmile certified and my team travels for training once a year in this protocol. We have also attended courses on soft tissue laser, temporary anchorage device placement, 3D cone beam imaging, as well as classes on computer management and imaging technology.
Most of my staff has been with me for over ten years. They are highly trained, certified, and attend all conferences with me. With their thorough dedication to bringing the best treatment to each patient and a love for what they do, they are a great part of what makes our office warm, efficient, and professional.
Born in Brooklyn, over half of my life has been spent living in New York City. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York Universitys College of Dentistry, where I participated in the Orthodontic Honors Program and graduated as valedictorian of my class. I continued at NYU to complete my postgraduate education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. To further my education and keep up with the latest advances in orthodontics, I take many hours of continuing education courses each year.
A single smile can go a long way. I feel lucky to be in the business of making beautiful smiles and look forward to being your partner in making a smile to last a lifetime! Experience in both the academic and clinical arenas have enabled me to see the real impact of orthodontics, and my role within it. The diversity of each day allows me to educate on the importance of oral health, improve the status quo and literally and figuratively transform my patients smiles.
As a graduate from Cornell University with a degree in Human Biology Health and Society, I continued to Stony Brook University to pursue my degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. After completing dental school, I received my orthodontic certificate from Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.Throughout my education, I interacted with leading minds and accomplished dentists to master the latest techniques and treatments for patients of all ages. My orthodontic training focused on pediatric interceptive treatment, comprehensive treatment of adolescents and adults, Invisalign, as well as surgical orthodontics. With an active interest in the area, I frequent local and national conferences, seminars, and continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest developments in the ever-evolving field.

I had a great experience at Hanson Place as an adult patient. I opted for real deal braces since it was earlier in the pandemic and I knew I'd be wearing a mask for a bit. The orthodontists and staff have a kind and informative bedside manner. They were patient with all of my questions and always in good spirits. The full treatment did take six months longer than was originally estimated - but slow and steady wins the race. The no interest payment plan was very convenient. Easy to make any emergency appointments had - although it was rare that I needed them. I highly recommend them!

Very professional, efficient. Patient when explaining things and working with your insurance which can sometimes be challenging. They have some of the most up-to-date technology available so they make the most of your time.

This place is a joke. Travelled an hour or so, calling ahead saying we'd be late, they said it was "fine", so the entire Orthodontics team could turn us away, worried about their lunch. You tell people to "come on in, we'll wait for you" to turn away at your door. What an embarrassment. Here's your certificate for horrible service. Enjoy paying that rent with your cheeseburgers.

My daughter had oral surgery done here and it was the best service she could have gotten. The surgeon and the staff is absolutely the best. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We were so impressed with the staff and how clean this place is. 10 stars from me.

Hanson Place Orthodontics did an excellent job prepping my teeth for jaw surgery and perfecting my teeth afterwards. They maintained great communication with me, my parents and my surgeon, and had great customer service overall. They treated me very well and even sent flowers to my house while I was recovering from surgery. Highly recommend!

This is really the best orthodontist place to get braces in Brooklyn if you need them! Highly recommend ! I've been going here since for about almost 2 years now since I was 17 and they take their time they don't rush they explain things throughly to you. They even have a flexible affordable payment option if maybe your insurance doesn't cover you for braces. I always come and leave concern free and satisfied knowing I'm getting the best orthodontic care I can.

I've gotten my braces for almost one year... I was introduced to Hanson Place Orthodontist by Giselle and am working with Dr. Eisenberger. I'm so impressed with the changes and my almost perfect smile... it amazes me to say that I look forward to my dental visits. Giselle is fantastic. She is so sensitive, warm, caring, and highly professional. She listens to her client's concerns and is alert to any discomfort, and always ensures that her client's needs are met and that they leave with a happy and bright smile. By far the best orthodontic team you will come across in NYC. I had a complex surgical case and Dr. E and his team provided the best possible treatment and service. You won't find another office with warmer, kinder staff. Dr. E, Ram, Ivan, and everyone at Hanson Place are THE dream team to give you a million dollar smile. I cannot say enough good things about this office. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you went anywhere else.
