Dr. Klein started his Punta Gorda practice in August of 2018. Since then he has made a home here with his partner Lisa and has enjoyed serving Charlotte County.Thank you so much for welcoming us into your community. We look forward to serving Punta Gorda for years to come!
Dr. Richard Klein graduated from Nova Southeastern University - College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Klein completed a hospital residency at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.He went on to work with special needs and medically compromised patients at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. Dr. Klein then moved to Flagstaff, AZ to care for Native Americans at the Navajo Reservation in Tuba City before returning home to Punta Gorda in 2018.

Lisa, Dental AssistantLisa has been working in the dental field as an assistant for over 20 years. She spent most of those years helping underserved communities at the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. She spent a few years in Arizona before making her way to Punta Gorda to open this practice!She has 3 daughters, 4 grandpups and one nephew.
Danyelle began her career in dentistry at Charlotte Technical Collage where she graduated from their Dental Assisting Program. She passed her Dental Assisting National Board in 2008. She went on to graduate from Edison State College in 2012 with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Danyelle is a Florida native and grew up in Port Charlotte. She spends her time off with her son and her dog, James.
Leisa, R.D.H.Leisa has been serving the Southwest community for over 20 years working as a dental hygienist. She came on full time at our office in 2019. She enjoys spending her free time with her two daughters, husband and pup.

Recently Dr Hanson sold his practice to Richard Klein. My family and me have been patients of Dr Hanson for over 30yrs. He always had friendly staff and acceptable pricing. Now there is all new staff, which is very unfriendly and rude! The front desk girl wants to argue and not listen. The prices have substantially gone up. I have no problem taking my family of five somewhere else. I wouldn't waste my time at this place!

They refused to see a dental emergency. We can only hope he's placed in the same predicament and nobody helps him.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Hanson for many years. He's ALWAYS professional and gentle. His workmanship is first class. In addition, he does not recommend work that is not necessary (which is not the case with another local dentist we had seen before finding Dr. Hanson).
