Our team is dedicated to making your dental experience a pleasant one. We take pride in treating each patient individually, and as we would like to be treated. Dr. Kirk is a graduate from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry, and he is diligent in attending continuing education classes to stay current with the latest advances and treatments, thereby providing his patients with the best treatment options.
Dr. Kirk J. Hansen grew up in Moline and graduated from Moline High School in 2002. He attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate education and went on to receive his D.D.S. degree there in 2009. During his senior year of dental school, he was recognized with awards for excellence in clinical skills and chairside manner. Dr. Hansen will help preserve your smile and oral function through advanced restorative, cosmetic, implant, and prosthetic dentistry. He treats patients of all ages and enjoys working with families. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and his dog Murphy, traveling with his wife (and Office Manager) Erin, cycling, backpacking, gardening, music, and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Donna received her Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University in 1975 and is a registered dental hygienist. She has worked in general dentistry offices in the Chicago area, Wichita, and Moline. In her spare time Donna enjoys bike rides and golfing.
Jennifer graduated from Carl Sandberg College in 2008 and is a registered dental hygienist. She previously worked at a periodontal office in Davenport, and has been with our office since 2010. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, taking her dog Jack for his daily walks, going to the gym, camping, and being outdoors.
Amber has been with our office since 2009. She is Dr. Kirk Hansen's chair-side assistant and truly enjoys what she does. Amber graduated from Dental Assisting Technologies and is certified in Dental Assisting. She has a young daughter and enjoys spending time with her family.
Tracey graduated from Moline High School and went on to serve in the US Navy where she attended Naval School of Dental Assisting and Technology (NSDAT) in San Diego, CA. She then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and received her Registered Dental Hygiene License in 1999. Tracey has been involved in dentistry for over 23 years. Aside from dentistry she enjoys traveling to see her two daughters, antiques and fix-it-up projects.
Erin is our Office Manager, and has been part of the Hansen Family Dentistry team since spring of 2012. She is originally from the Cedar Rapids area, and graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 2005. Erin and Dr. Kirk first met at the University of Iowa, where Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Interdisciplinary Studies. After moving to Moline, Erin worked as a trainer in the Human Resources department of a local university. Erin and Dr. Kirk were married in 2011, and they are enjoying the time they now get to spend together at the office. Erin's favorite activities include painting, reading, and spending time with her dog Murphy.
Amanda is our Scheduling Coordinator. Since spring of 2013, she has performed a variety of services in our office to help our patients with scheduling visits and coordinating insurance submissions. Amanda graduated from Moline High School in 1999, and received her dental assisting degree in 2007; she worked as an assistant in a local endodontic office prior to her time here. In her spare time, she enjoys landscaping and gardening, and spending time with her beloved pets, family, and friends.

Great place, great people. I have been for a while under their care now, and they have showed extreme professionalism during the whole process, always making sure that I understand what they are doing and that I am comfortable during the treatment sessions. The front desk staff are friendly and ready to answer any questions, and even the people at their billing intake are always happy to help :D Dr. Hansen has been always very detailed when describing the procedures and willing to answer any questions that I may have. In the same way, RDH Adams has provided excellent care and she always makes sure that I am comfortable and informed during the sessions. Honestly, the experience has been even better than what I was hoping for!

I have been going to Dr. Hansen's office for a couple of years now and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The facility is beautiful, the staff is fun and friendly, and the work done there is amazing. If your looking for a new family dentist you should definitely give them a try. I left this review a long time ago. To this day I am amazed and grateful for the work they do. Amazing people, whom I could not thank more.

Only gets gets a 1 star because there is not an option for 0 . He builds me a set of dentures that don't fit. His response to that is not much I can do about that so after more than $3000 later I have dentures that don't fit so I can't eat. I don't care how personal he tries to be he is a shyster in my eyes

One of my favorite things about Dr. Hansen is before, during, and after any work, he gives a detailed explanation of the procedure. This explanation is always in terms I understand, and includes the how and why of the procedure clearly. His practice uses technology to show detailed pictures, I could see just what each step of filling my cavities was like. I also appreciate that at the end of the appointment, I was given an explanation of the costs associated with work that Dr. Kirk is recommending for the future health of my teeth so I could plan accordingly. The office staff is always efficient, using text messages to confirm appointments, if you so choose. And they have always gotten me in for my appointments in a reasonable time, especially considering the backlog created from Covid closures this year. 5 stars!

Took my 5 year old there today. What a great experience. And my 5 year old is a harsh critic. Doc and staff are all AMAZING! Very knowledgeable and overall just a very pleasant experience. Looking forward to my appointment!

I have been visiting Dr. Kirk and the team since I moved to the QC 8 years ago. They provide a great all-around experience. They are also great with my 5 year old son. While brushing last night, he told me he was following their brushing directions so he could keep the "sugar bugs" away.

Dr. Hansen is very down to earth and easy to talk too. He is very through and talks to you making you feel comfortable. It's a great place from the friendly front desk staff to Donna my amazing hygienist. My daughter enjoyed talking and going to Dr. Kirk as well!
