He consistently brings his patients only the best that modern dentistry has to offer, by keeping himself and his staff informed on the latest advances and available techniques.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University, Dr. Hansen earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health Sciences University. Since then, he has kept up-to-date on the newest developments in his field through numerous continuing education courses, including those in adhesive and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Bushman strives to always give the best care possible, focusing on restoring your smile and function. He remembers the importance of prevention by teaching good habits that will help maintain your overall health. He cares that you feel comfortable while you visit and is glad to see patients of all ages. He speaks fluent English and Spanish.
Dr. Bushman studied at Brigham Young University and then attended dental school at the University of Washington. He is passionate about helping others and has spent much of his career serving underprivileged populations. He is always striving for improvement as he seeks to best care for you and your loved ones.
Vannessa has been involved in the Dental field for over 23 years and in the Medical/Dental Insurance field for over 33 years here in the Tri-Cities. She has a comprehensive knowledge of insurance and treatment plan options that will fit all of our patients needs. She will be very prompt with answers regarding insurance questions and will help patients feel at ease knowing there is a solution for their treatment goals.
A Native to the Tri-Cities, Mitch graduated from Columbia Basin College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She was also the sole recipient from her class to receive the Golden Syringe award for her gentle touch with the administration of local anesthetics.Mitch enjoys spending her free time with her family. They enjoy being active at the gym, hiking, camping, spending evenings around the fire-pit, and weekend trips visiting friends.Mitch is proud to provide patient focused care and education with the same compassion she gives her own family!
Rachel graduated from the Columbia Basin Dental Hygiene program in 2014. She truly cares about the individual needs of each patient and making sure they have a great visit from start to finish . Rachel grew up in North Carolina, but has made Tri Cities her home for over 12 years . She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. You can find them at almost any campsite in the summer and she usually has a book in hand.
Jenna was born and raised in the Tri-cities. After high school she ventured off to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. She earned her first bachelors degree in Sociology and completed her prerequisites for Dental Hygiene School. She graduated from the dental hygiene program at Columbia Basin College in 2019, serving as the class president, and earning her second bachelors degree. Jenna is passionate about serving others and strives to help her patients attain their best oral health. She has two chocolate labs and enjoys hiking, kayaking, and being outdoors.
Cindy has been a dental assistant for over 10 years, she loves to help make patients feel comfortable with their dental procedures and enjoys watching their smile grow and brighten! She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
Yajaira began her career as a sterile technician and orthodontia fabricator in 2018. She is now working as a restorative registered dental assistant. Yajaira is dedicated to making patients feel comfortable and ensure quality care is always given.
Cristina is registered dental assistant who oversees the orthodontia and sterilization departments of the office. Cristina began her career in 2019 and hopes to further her education in the dental field in the future. Her favorite thing about working in dentistry is the atmosphere our office provides for our patients and staff.
Elizabeth has been a registered dental assistant for 12 years. She started her career in Idaho and moved to Washington State in 2015. Her passion for dentistry has evolved over the years and continues to grow with each patient.
Tajia is an administrative assistant, registered dental assistant, and social media coordinator. She grew up on the coast of North Carolina and moved back to Washington State in 2017 to continue her education in the dental field. Tajia commits her time to make certain her full effort and heart is put into everything she does.

I highly recommend Hansen Family Dental. I have dental anxiety,TMJ and it had been several years since I had done dental maintenance. The team here is kind, attentive, provides a very high level of service (incredible name recognition and amenities) and took my concerns seriously. I went in for some fillings and wound up with jaw pain (TMJ related) and they had me come back by same day for jaw massage and it helped so much!! We are currently working on aligning my bite to treat my TMD/TMJ and I think it is really helping to alleviate grinding and pain in my jaw. So glad I found this dental practice!

This was the best experience (if sitting in a dental chair is!). LOL The attendant who gave the shots was exceptional. She talked about what she was doing so there were no surprises. And no pain. Dr. Hansen did great! He was even singing! The attendant who finished the crown was outstanding. I couldn't believe the fact the crown was made and placed during one appointment. I'm 73 years old and I have never experienced such good care. And Hansen Family Dentistry is excellent for taking care of their patients. I would highly recommend them.

First time going to Hansen Family Dental. So glad I chose this office. Dr. Hansen is great and his staff is wonderful. Jenna, Dental hygienist did a great job. Thorough, friendly, and answered all my questions. I actually left the dentist office with a smile. I would highly recommend!

Hansen Family Dental has been my dental provider for a number of years. Dr Hansen is personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. Rachel, my dental hygienist, is great. She does an excellent job and yet is sooo gentle. Beth, the main receptionist, is friendly and very efficient. They offer a yearly plan with a discount for seniors, which really helps me. This is a great dental office!

I have lived in five states and had close to a dozen dentists throughout my life so I have had a wide range of experiences. Dr. Hansen and the team at Hansen Family Dental are head and shoulders above the rest. The quality of the work is excellent, the facility is nice and relaxing, and the entire team seems very knowledgeable and experienced. They provide an excellent experience overall, or at least as excellent as is possible when having dental work done. And on top of excellent care, they treat you like family. They really seem to care about you and treat you more like a friend than a patient. They are warm, welcoming and attentive. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hansen and his team.

I came in for the first time recently and was just amazed at how friendly, comfortable and knowledgeable the staff was! They walked me through what was gonna happen and even showed me my x-rays and explained what needed to be done. If you're in the neighborhood for a new dentist, Dr. Hansen is very professional and does great work!
