To say that doctor is in the blood of Dr. Jodie Meredith, would be an understatement. She comes from four generations of doctors, two of whom graduated at the top of their class, and yes, she is one of them. The other, her grandfather (Dr. H.C. Meredith), was an important role model growing up.
Upon receiving her degree in Kinesiology from William & Mary, one year early, she decided to explore the notion of working in an oral health profession. During her time as an assistant at an oral surgery practice, she developed a passion for the science and craft of dentistry. She would parlay this passion into a stellar career as a dental student at the VCU School of Dentistry. At which time she would also come to realize the key to continued success and top tier care for her patients depended on her desire to never stop being a student.
Her warm, cheery, and energetic attitude almost belie her serious approach, numerous accomplishments, and dedication to the field of dentistry for the past 10 years. As someone with so much going on in her career, her goals are oddly simple. Treat patients not like patients, but as human beings, and always over-deliver when it comes to quality of treatment. Suffice it to say those under her care are in terrific hands.
Dr. Jordan is a native Virginian, who grew up farming in Chase City, Va. He earned his undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech, and studied Dentistry at MCV in Richmond. He graduated in 1978, and practiced for about a year in Virginia Beach. They moved back to the Mechanicsville area in 1981, and Dr Jordan started his solo practice shortly thereafter. We have been in the same location ever since, with many of our original patients. Dr Jordan and his wife are the proud parents of 3 boys, and several grandchildren.

The staff is amazing! It says a lot when an office can keep employees over 20 years! I love seeing familiar faces during my visits. They are all so friendly..always laughing and smiling when I come in. My hygienist was very knowledgeable and professional during my cleaning. Dr. Meredith is wonderful! So happy to have finally found a dentist I can trust!

Great people. Only thing that really makes me upset is our 5 year old is not vacated because she can't and the hygienist had her mask down. We were really uncomfortable and did not feel safe.

During this time of COVID 19, I go into the office thinking I would be protected. Two employees, receptionist and hygienist were not wearing masks. I had to tell the hygienist several times to keep her distance since she had no mask when taking me back. I complained to the dentist, and she said I should find and another dentist. Literally, threw me out. Have been a patient for over 20 years

So I went to Hanover family dentistry for a couple fillings and they are the best. Very friendly and easy to work with. They all made me feel right at home and now all my co workers are going there. You have to check this place out asap.

Dr. Meredith repaired an issue that another dentist said could not be fixed. Not only did she fix it, she did an amazing job! HIGHLY recommend.

I don't want to leave a bad review because we have had a great experience with them for years. My Elderly dad (who has a myriad of major health problems) really likes Dr Jordan. But he had to go in today and there were no temperature checks and 3 workers walked in not wearing masks. Normally I would leave it alone but it feels important to let people know, especially if they're older or have medical conditions, that this is the atmosphere here during Covid.
