The most gentile dentist/endodontist I have ever been to. I shared with him my anxiety because I normally do not get numb very well. II was I in absolutely no pain during the root canal. I didn't even feel the needle that he used to numb me. Mine was a very special situation because he had to redo another person's work. I actually fell asleep during the root canal for extended period of time. When I looked at the after X-rays and asked him to compare them to the pictures from the past. His work was so much better. Thanks.

February, 2021 : I found the staff to be friendly and efficient. Dr. Barak did a great job. Moreover, he was extremely attentive to my personal needs and requests during my procedure. It's obvious he knows how to do a root canal, but he knows how to make a patient secure and comfortable while it is being performed. I am very happy he did my procedure.

I had a great experience with this office. During my consultation they looked into my insurance so they could tell me exactly how much my root canal would be when I scheduled. I have COPD and was super paranoid to be in a dentist office during COVID. They couldn't have been more understanding and accommodating. Dr Barak delivered painless numbing shots. I have never had a painless shot to my interior gum! I think I nodded off twice during the procedure, I was that relaxed. He worked quickly and efficiently. The doctor called tonight to check on me. Seriously, just a really nice, smooth experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend them!

Was referred to this office due to a failed root canal that was originally done elsewhere many, many years ago. I was able to schedule an appointment within a reasonable time frame. I was examined, the doctor tested the tooth, did an x-ray of the tooth and recommended a Cone Beam CT Scan. Told them I didn't want the scan unless it's covered by my dental plan. I was told it would be. I had the scan. Long story short, the whole ordeal cost $445.00, the tooth couldn't be saved and the scan wasn't a covered service under my dental plan. I was sent a bill for the scan. After contacting my health plan, I was told the dentist office could request an authorization with medical necessity documentation, and it would likely be covered. I sent their office all of the information and instructions needed to proceed with obtaining an authorization. Several months passed by without a word, leaving me to presume it had been taken care of. The suddenly, I get a bill for the scan and a letter stating they submitted to my medical plan, but never heard from the plan. And now, the balance was my responsibility. After verifying with my medical plan, I was told they never received a claim or a request to authorize the scan. If so, it would have been acknowledged one way or the other--authorization denied or it was paid. I made payment arrangements with the office to pay a set amount per month until the balance was paid. Now, I'm getting bills from them every 2 weeks with a 2 week due date. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone.

I have had 2 root canals done with this office and both of the root canals I had issues with. The first one I had to return 3 times due to pain still in the tooth and they had to redo the root canal and shave my tooth down to where I have half of the tooth left. The second root canal was done by Jeffrey Gardyn and the tooth I believe should have just been extracted, instead I was lead to believe it could be saved. Turns out the tooth was actually cracked in half and actually could not be saved and t the procedure was done any way , to the tune of $1382.00. My insurance paid 1000.00 which was my total allowance for the year and they told me my copay was 54.00 which I did pay at the time of the procedure. I did return 2 times due to pain in the tooth adjustments were made but did not work. Long story short I had to have the tooth extracted which cost another 185.00 and had to go to a different dentist for this procedure. Now they are trying to get another 382.00 from me for the procedure that was to save the tooth. I have tried to take care of paying half of the balance and made several calls to the office and they do not want to discuss this and have turned it to collections. Poor service all around. I would not recommend at all.
