Outside of the office, Dr. Tyler enjoys fishing, bow hunting, traveling, skiing, barbecuing,and spending quality time with his family and friends. He and his wife Marisa have five children:Bennett, Vince, (angel) Vera, Ingrid, and Rhett.
Dr. Tyler is an alumnus of Rockford High School. He attended the University of Minnesota, where he graduated with an undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, Dr. Tyler served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy where he practiced at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island,South Carolina and Marine Corps Air Station New River,North Carolina. He has had over eight years of military and private practice experience.
Dr. Tyler firmly believes once you stop learning, you start dying. In 2018, he became a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) after completing over 500 CE hours.He is also an associate fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).His other awards include:Outstanding Achievement Award from the Academy of Operative Dentistry (AOD), and the Clinical Achievement Award in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontists (AAE).
Dr. Tyler enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but has a special interest in implants, root canals, and cosmetics. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you improve your oral health and quality of life.

I have been to many different dental clinics, and this is the best experience I have ever had. Dr Tyler is the best. He did a super quick and painless job with my cavity filling. I will be recommending this clinic to all my friends and family for their dental needs.

As always, another great visit to Hanover Dental! I feel some may become suspect when I leaving a great review after each visit? But, what can I say, it's the truth. I'm a 4x a year patient (extra treatments req'd), and I'm always greeted with a smile & top-knotch care. Shout-out to my hygienist, Jill: she's awesome! PLUS, for October 2022, they are having some prize drawings at the end of the month celebrating their 4th anniversary serving our community! Prizes include gift cards to some of our local businesses. How great is that: It's their anniversary, but we get a chance to win and show our best HD smiles:)

Always a great clinic experience at Hanover Dental. Front desk staff is so friendly, the hygienist are always friendly and do a wonderful job and Dr Tyler is professional and personable. The clinic is very clean, organized and a very comfortable environment.

Amazing hygienists, office staff and Dr. Tyler! Trustworthy and great care every single appointment. My daughter had some teeth pulled and Dr. Tyler called later on in the evening to check on her. Can't think of any dentist who has ever done that! Love Hanover Dental.

I went to Hanover Dental to get a tooth extracted. While that's never any fun, this was a great experience. They made me feel welcome the second I walked in the door, and kept me comfortable and at ease through the whole process, while taking time to answer my questions and keep me informed.
