Dr. Reem S. Shafi, CEO, Two Rivers Dental is the epitome of modern dentistry. She received her dental degree in 1998 and is a proud alumna of the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. After her graduation, she relocated to Chicago, IL and opened her first dental practice by 2004. During that year of running her own practice, Dr. Shafi realized she had much more potential and decided to open a second practice. Now, a decade later, Dr. Shafi owns several practices, all of which are located in and around the Chicago area. Her company now employs over 140 employees and 30 dentists.
During the course of her professional career, Dr. Shafi has won numerous awards including her induction into Temple University Fox School of business League for Entrepreneurial Women Hall of Fame for the year 2013.
Dr. Peterson specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants since 1987, has extensive experience in implantology, and has successfully treated many dental implant patients throughout Chicagoland.
Dr. Peterson graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. He furthered his training and education through a program focused in Anesthesiology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital College of Surgery.
Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling, tennis, skiing and the outdoors. Dr. Peterson also practices law and teaches at a university.
Dr. Virji is originally from Toronto, Canada, where she found a passion for orthodontics since the age of 13. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Dr. Virji went on to earn her DMD degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL in 2017. Dr. Virji then began practicing general dentistry for 1 year in Toronto before returning to Chicago and pursuing orthodontics at UIC Orthodontic Program. Dr. Virjis dedication for her profession led to her winning 3rd Place Nationwide for the 2021 Dr. William R. Proffit Resident Scholar Award while at UIC. While Dr. Virji practices orthodontics full time, she also works as part time faculty at the University of Illinois Chicago Orthodontic Department.
Dr. Virji is passionate about all areas of orthodontics, but shes especially interested in the advanced technologies that orthodontics is moving toward. Focusing on advanced technologies allows Dr. Virji to provide her patients with the best experience and results.

I am the world's biggest baby, when it comes to mouth pain. I honestly did not feel a thing. Next day, still no pain from dbl extracted teeth. Also had deep cleaning! Zero pain!. I super recommend!

Best dentist I have been to i have searched and searched have been to the rudest places until I found this place i am so grateful with the assistant and the dentist I wish I would have gotten there names thank you so much for holding my hand and being so supportive of me let me tell you not many places have kind people I am so glad I found you guys and I'm for sure staying at the location 10/10 ( stars isn't enough)

i ser yo an appointment for lots of dental work I need about a week ago but when I get there the receptionist (little skinny girl). didn't get her name unfortunately tells me she does not have the insurance process done because she doesn't have an id #. i gave her all the info I had including the phone number to the ins. in person when I was there a week ago. she lied saying she called me but I never got a call ! on top of that she had a very bad attitude. So I left. no wonder there was only the be more person. they must be making a lot of money with the vere few

I recently went for a regular teeth cleaning- it was my first visit at the office. Although I had to wait a little longer than usual, the service was very good. The dental hygienist and the doctor were knowledgable about my needs. I feel that they understood my concerns, and I got a lot out of the visit. Overall, I was satisfied with the service. I definitely will be coming back on a regular basis.

Had to have a tooth removed due to infection. It was painless. I'm not exaggerating.My dentist did excellent work. I like to thank him for taking me in right away. Also love his humor kept me calm and relaxed. Also receptionist very helpful and Courteous. Think you!!

Dr. Mamsa is wonderful, I've had a lot of indifferent dentist but not him. He explains everything, and made me feel at ease with everything, he gave me options to restore more function by getting a bridge, and Katty And yasmin up front were able to help me finance it with a payment program, and find the best times to fit my busy schedule .Hilary an awesome hygienist and is always welcoming and friendly. Over all I love Hanover dental, and even though it's a bit further away, I will continue to go there. They make is so welcoming I don't mind going to the dentist.
