Dr. Nooredin Nurani is a graduate of Emory University and the Medical College of Georgia. He has been in private practice in the Atlanta area since 1990. Dr. Nurani has taken extensive advanced training in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, and sedation dentistry with special focus on the treatment of complex dental problems, full-mouth reconstructions, and smile makeovers.
He has trained with Dr. Frank Spear at the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and with Ross Nash at the Nash Institute - both centers providing extensive continuums in cosmetics, occlusion, and smile makeovers. In addition, he has trained through the Medical College of Georgia Maxi Implant course in the placement and restoration of dental implants.
He received further training in implants and bone grafting through Dr. Mike Pikos, Dr. Maurice Salama and Dr. Arun Garg. Dr. Nurani received training in sedation dentistry from the Dental Organization forConscious Sedation (DOCS) which has allowed him to provide dental care for his apprehensive patients. In fact, he was one of the first in Gwinnett County to offer sedation dentistry to his patients. In addition, Dr. Nurani is a certified Six Month Smiles provider.
Dr. Nurani is committed to providing optimum dental care for his patients in an environment which focus on patient comfort. Since 2007, Dr. Nurani and his team have hosted an annual charity event-Community of Smiles as a way of giving back to the community and helping the needy. Dr, Nurani and his team believe that serving ones community is both a civic duty and a blessing. Over the years they have helped hundreds of patients get a healthier smile.
Dr. Hannah Oh attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL for her undergraduate studies where she received her Bachelors Degree in Nutritional Sciences. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Oh furthered her dental education at the University of Florida in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Program in Jacksonville, FL. The one-year residency provided Dr. Oh with extensive training and experience in comprehensive multidisciplinary oral health care, full mouth reconstruction, surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, endodontics, and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Oh lives in Midtown Atlanta. She spends her time away from dentistry traveling to places where she can snowboard or scuba dive, painting, playing the cello and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Dr. Ravikanth Kallu originally received his dental degree from NTR University of Health Sciences, India in the year 2000. His research interest in oral health took him to Belgium, where he pursued his research at School of Dentistry, Katholieke University of Leuven (KU Leuven). While at KU Leuven, Dr. Kallu did interdisciplinary research on Tooth Transplantations in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the Department of Restorative Dentistry. His thesis and research findings are published in the prestigious International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He received a Master of Oral Health Sciences magna cum laude. He is actively contributing to the research at KU Leuven.
In 2003, Dr. Kallu came to United States as a research scholar at Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley, Georgia where he received a Master of Nutrition. In 2005, Dr. Kallu moved to New York and further continued his education in clinical dentistry. In 2008, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry with honors.
Upon graduation, Dr. Kallu returned to Georgia and is in private practice. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in all disciplines of dentistry including endodontics, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, temporomandibular joint disorders, pediatric dentistry and implant dentistry.
Dr. Kallu is married to his wife, Anitha. They have two young children. In his free time, he enjoys being with his family & friends, playing tennis, travelling, listening to music and watching movies.
Dr. Michelle Paterson graduated Cum Laude from Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, GA where she received her Bachelors Degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Following her undergraduate studies, she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, GA.
During her time in Dental School, Dr. Paterson received many awards and scholarships,and was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon ; the National Dental Honor Society in which membership is by invitation only and based on high academic achievement, contributions to the advancement of dentistry through service, and outstanding character.
Dr. Firas Yosif is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He has been practicing dentistry since 1997. Dr. Yosif received further training with Dr. Salama in Atlanta focusing on first-class wellness and cosmetic dentistry. Dr.Yosif regularly attends continuing education classes to ensure that he provides patients with the most advanced dental care using the latest techniques. In addition, Dr. Yosif is a certified Invisalign provider.
In 2017 Dr.Yosif joined CCSD, and strongly believes in the offices commitment to excellent patient care and their dedication to improving oral health in a compassionate and caring atmosphere. In his free time he enjoys playing soccer, going to the beach and spending time with his wife and two children.
Dr. Meesa was born and raised in India. His passion for healthcare led him to the dental field. He finished his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2005 and then moved to the United States to further his studies in dentistry. He earned his DDS degree from New York University in 2010.
After graduation Dr. Meesa went on to serve the rural under-served areas in Wisconsin. He practiced several years at Marshfield Clinic during which he also worked as the dental faculty. Dr. Meesas research interests led him to research work at Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, where he studied Non-Traumatic Dental Visits in Medical Settings in Rural Wisconsin.
Dr. Meesa is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Dr. Meesa is committed to advanced continuing education, attending courses throughout the year where he focuses his studies on full mouth rehabilitation treatments. Dr. Meesa joined CCSD in 2019 and is striving hard to provide the best dental care in the area. Dr. Meesa values his relationship with each and every one of his patients and hopes to develop lifelong bonds. In his free time Dr. Meesa likes to spend time with his family and friends.
Dr. Lisa Hong was born in South Korea and moved to the United Statesin 2005. She graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University with a Bachelors in biochemistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors from the Dental College of Georgia.
While in dental school, Dr. Hong was the recipient of the Hinman Dental Society Atlanta scholarship and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon certificate of academic achievement. She did research to define the potential role of oral microbiome in chorodial-neovascular and inflammatory modulation in age-related macular degeneration and presented her research at the American Association of Dental Research.
Dr. Rassam graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry, where she co-founded ananti-child trafficking organization. She received herDoctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)degree from University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Kentucky and soon after her graduation Dr. Rassam relocated back to Georgia to reunite with her family.
Dr. Rassam takes pride in treating each patient with respect and compassion. Her priority is to listen to the needs of each patient and provide them with the comfort of feeling like they are family. Her gentle chairside manner puts anyone at ease during treatment with her warm and caring personality. She is passionate at improving the lives and smiles of her patients. She believes knowledge is essential to providing the best treatment options and the highest quality of care.
Gary E. Taylor D.D.S., P.C. graduated from the University of Toronto School of Dentistry in 1980, where he was class president and won a varsity letter. He also has a B.Sc. with honors in Biology. Prior to moving to Alpharetta and purchasing Old Alabama Dental Care in 2001, Dr. Taylor owned a dental practice for 15 years in Torontos midtown Yorkville area.
In 2012,Angies Listhonored Dr. Taylor with itsSuper Saver Award for Dentistry. In 2006, Dr. Taylor was named as one ofAmericas Top Dentistsby the non-profit, Consumers Research Council of America which makes merit-based selections.
Dr. Taylor is married to Jane and has two sons, Jesse and Jake, who are both college students. When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Taylor plays on a hockey team, tinkers and rebuilds any-and-everything and plays a mean guitar!
Dr. Yesha Patel graduated from The University of Georgia- GO DAWGS in 2011 with a bachelor's in Biology and a minor in Religion. She received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Right after graduation- it was time for Dr. Yesha Patel to relocate back to Georgia to be close to her family. She is currently a member of the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She hasreceived training in sedation dentistry from the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and is happy to provide conscious sedation to our apprehensive patients. Dr. Yesha Patel is passionate about dentistry and is committed to providing her patient's the comprehensive treatment they need. Dr. Yesha Patel has had training in cosmetic dentistry, extractions, endodontics and is a certified Invisalign provider. She is always on the hunt to learn and loves to take continuing education courses.
Rachel has been with the CCSD family for eleven years. She believes in making sure all of our patients are served with the highest quality of care available and making sure the office runs smoothly. She enjoys interacting with our patients as well as welcoming new patients to our practice.
Stephanie has been a part of the CCSD family for the past twelveyears. She works closely with our patients to coordinate their dental treatment. Stephanie is bilingual which aids in better communication with our Spanish speaking patients.
Donna comes to us with over 35years of experience. Dentistry is her true passion. She is an expert at working with dental insurance providers to maximize our patients benefits. She has made it her goal to exceed our patient's expectations of quality and service.
