Dr. Jacobs moved to Arlington in 1969. Graduated from Lamar High School in 1978, University of Texas at Arlington in 1982 and Baylor College of Dentistry in 1986. Dr. Jacobs is married to Maryann and they have three children Ryan, Ashley and Erin.
Dr. Jacobs has been in practice in Arlington since 1986. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Ft. Worth District Dental Society - President 2003, Arlington Dental Study Club - President 1992 & 2002 and the Academy of General Dentistry. He taught part time at Baylor College of Dentistry for almost 20 years. In October of 2021, Dr. Jacobs became a Fellow in the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Jacobs is very active in his community. He has taught Sunday School at his church to 56-year-old class since 1984. He served as President of Leadership Arlington in 2004. He was President of Arlington North Rotary in 1994 and is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow as well as having 20+ years perfect attendance. Dr. Jacobs has volunteered as a team doctor for Lamar High School since 1986.
Hi, Im Shirley and Ive been working with Hank for 27 years. We joke that Im his work wife, since we've been together so long and know each other so well. I love getting to know all of our patients, celebrating lifes triumphs and sharing in their sorrows. The best part of my job is seeing the positive difference we make in our patients lives. My high school sweetheart and I just celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary this year. We have two married sons, five grandsons and one granddaughter.
