Dr. Handley is originally from Nelsonville, Ohio. The son of an air force pilot, Dr. Handley frequently moved to various states throughout the country as a child including Florida, California, and Nebraska. He finally planted roots in Azle, Texas during his high school years. Dr. Handley went on to attend Texas A&M University, where he obtained his bachelors degree in zoology.
Upon graduation, Dr. Handley worked in the research field studying substance abuse and pharmaceuticals at North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. After three years in this field, Dr. Handley returned to school to study dentistry at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Upon graduation in 1999, Dr. Handley worked as an associate dentist at Tippit-Schleicher Dental Group.
During his four years as an associate, he developed his style of practice and a thorough understanding of cosmeticandrestorative dentistry. Dr. Handley is a member of many dental organizations including the ADA, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, The Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce, and The Academy of General Dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr. Handley loves spending time with his wife and three sons. He is an avid sports fan, with a special affinity for his Aggies and the Houston Texans. He has sang in a band for over 20 years, and also enjoys traveling, fishing and golf.
Dr. Katie Chang is a Louisiana native but has since made Houston her home. After graduatingwith a degreein Neuroscience from Tulane University, she went on tostudyat Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She graduated at the top of her class with awards in functional occlusion and TMD. Afterward, Dr. Chang continued her training by completing a Periodontal Implant Restorative Fellowship also at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where she gained even more experience in implant restorations, microscope dentistry, and conservative approaches to dental restorations.
Dr. Chang is passionate about quality dentistry and strives to stay up to date withadvances in thedental field with continuing education in her spare time. She dedicates herself to each patients personal needs and goals with the vision of getting her patients to a healthy and confident smile. As her patient, you can expect a thorough and comfortable exam that will provide you with a clear treatment plan specific to yourneeds.
Dr. Chang participates withanumber of professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and Dawson Academy.
