In 2003, Dr. Joshua Hancock established Hancock Dental Center in his hometown of Martinsburg, WV. A graduate of Martinsburg High School, Dr. Josh (as hes better known to his patients) continued his education at West Virginia University (Lets go Mountaineers!) completing his Bachelor of Sciences degree and ultimately earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999. After graduation, Dr. Josh completed a hospital-based residency in general practice through the Veterans Health Administration Hospital in Hampton, Virginia.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, and their two sons. They manage to keep him busy, but he does find time to enjoy fly fishing (especially with his father) and cheering on the Mountaineers!
Treby supports Hancock Dental Center as the office manager, dental assistant, and dental hygienist. She started her career in dentistry over 14 years ago as an orthodontic and general dentistry assistant and eventually went on to dental hygiene school. Since her 2009 graduation (alas not from WVU but Dr. Josh and the team have decided to let that slide!) she has worked in private practice as well as for the federal government and department of defense. Treby also has significant experience in the administrative aspect of dentistry. As the HDC office manager, she keeps the day-to-day operations running smoothly. This role is the perfect combination of her passions: dentistry and management (all to the benefit of the Hancock Dental Center patients!)
Treby leads an active lifestyle outside of the office. She loves spending time with her son and 3 dogs. Not a native of the area, Treby is still exploring and learning what West Virginia has to offer (often finding things that our local team members have overlooked!). She enjoys exercising, hiking, kayaking, and camping.
Morgan was born and raised in Hagerstown, MD, and currently resides in Martinsburg, WV. She graduated from Hagerstown Community College with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She started her career in the public health sector, and has since moved onto the private practice setting. She taught in the dental hygiene clinic at HCC as an adjunct faculty member and enjoys the educational aspect of hygiene, as well as patient centered care. Morgan is also a full time student finishing her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from Pennsylvania College of Technology with her expected graduation date in May 2021.
Andrea is the friendly face (and voice) youll find at our front desk welcoming you to Hancock Dental Center! She is a lifelong resident of Martinsburg and graduated from Martinsburg High School in 1989. She started her career in dentistry 20 years ago and is our Patient Treatment Coordinator, handling all aspects of the front office. She prides herself on making our patients feel right at home when they are here.
Outside of work, Andrea loves spending time with her daughters, Kaitlyn & Kaira, and grandchildren, Raynah, Ryder, and Kash. During football season you will find her enjoying the Friday night lights, cheering on the Bulldogs, or at her grandson's (go #41!) many sporting events. She also enjoys live concerts, spending time with friends, thrift stores, yard sales and cuddling with her 2 chihuahuas & 2 cats.

Since my last experience at a dentist about 5 years ago I have chose to not go since it was such a horrible experience. But after much thought I decided to give a different dentist a try and wow did my expectations get blown out of the water. By far the best experience I have had. Jess is awesome and everyone is so friendly! Much appreciated and I will be back in 6 months for a cleaning!

I love Dr Hancock! He and his staff make me feel at ease. He doesn't do anything to teeth unless the teeth actually need to be fixed. He keeps me laughing through most of my appointment and this helps me. I have had horrible childhood experiences with three Martinsburg dentists and going to Hancock Dental is awesome. They treat me like family! Well.........let's say better than family!!!!!

Who likes going to the dentist? The answer to that question is simple.... when you have a dentist like Dr. Hancock -- EVERYBODY LOVES TO GO! His office staff is top notch and place you at ease the moment you enter the lobby. He keeps his appointments timely so you're not ungracefully aging in the waiting room. His chair-side manner and expertise put you at ease and you just know you're in good hands. I couldn't give a higher endorsement in this locally competitive field. If you are looking for a new dentist, I strongly encourage you to try out his practice. You will not regret that decision.

Dr. Hancock has been my dentist for years, and he and his team of professionals are always friendly, welcoming, and prepared! Appointments run on time, and the office is extremely clean and organized. The staff is ready to answer any questions, and Dr. Hancock is always willing to spend some extra time to address any concerns or questions you may have. Doesn't get any better!

I went in with a cracked tooth emergency. They got me in within two days and went above and beyond on my referral process (was a bit too much for them to handle in office) and getting options approved with my insurance. More than impressed. I'll be back! They are my new dentists for sure!

I like Dr. Joshua Hancock's dental practice! The hygienists always do an excellent job. Everyone is friendly, and they treat me with respect.
