Practicing orthodontics is exciting to Dr. Han because he is challenged every day to see exciting new cases, meet great individuals, see orthodontic progress, and help create beautiful smiles. It is encouraging to work with so many unique people of all ages, from as young as six years of age to adults, and to share their life experiences during this mutual journey of straightening their teeth.
Dr. Han attended Johns Hopkins University for his undergraduate degree and continued on to Harvard School of Public Health for his Masters degree in Environmental Health. His dental education was obtained at Harvard Dental School and he completed his Orthodontic Residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Han has been happily practicing in the wonderful Vista community since 2003.
Continuing education is an integral part of maintaining a successful orthodontic practice. It is Dr. Han's goal to be up-to-date on all the best and most effective orthodontic treatments to offer his patients. He attends meetings and courses through the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California Dental Association, the San Diego Academy of Orthodontists, and the San Diego County Dental Society. These benefit patients in providing the most updated, cutting-edge, and latest evidence-based approach to orthodontics.
Dr. Han enjoys living and working in this great area, and he considers the success of the community to be a personal responsibility. He supports various sporting clubs for Vista and Ranch Buena Vista High Schools among others, and has sponsored the Miss Pride of Vista and Miss Teen Tri-City for the past few years.
Dr.Han grew up in the Seattle area years before Starbucks, Nordstrom, Amazon, Costco, Microsoft, and others became such well-known companies worldwide and he has lived locally in Carlsbad, CA, since 2003. He is married and has two lovely daughters in orthodontic treatment. When he's not in the office, you can find him playing golf, tennis, running, fantasy football, and skiing.

Yes the braces will be $4,600.00. What? First they set us up with a great payment plan. Butaboom butabang fast forward 2 to 3 yrs. Braces are off, payments are done, teeth look great. Dr. Han and team excellent. 6 outa 5 stars.

I highly recommend Han! The entire staff was very friendly and always remembered me by name. More important than that, I believe I received the highest quality of care. Dr. Han was always very kind to me, thorough, and very good about answering my questions and concerns. I tell everyone that Invisalign was the absolute best investment I have ever made in myself. I am so much more confident with my smile and my oral health is better because of it. And I am so glad I went with Han. A million thank yous for helping me achieve a smile I am proud of!

Both of my daughters got their teeth straightened at Han Orthodontics. The first had traditional braces and the second, many years later, had Invisiline. Both are very happy with their results and their experience. Everyone at Han Orthodontics is very professional and courteous. Dr. Han really knows what he is doing and provided great Orthodontic service. Both of my girls teeth look great and it was affordable.

Han Orthodontics did a fantastic job with my teenage daughter's teeth. We chose the hybrid Invisalign (with the posterior teeth the traditional wire brackets) to minimize the time. She completed her treatment as promised on time, and the payment plan worked out just right too. The appointments were always very quick, in and out with minimal wait time. What more could you ask for from an orthodontist!

I would 100% recommended dr. Hans office . They are by far the most professional ortho I've ever stepped foot in. They really made my experience with getting my braces such a smooth process and letting me know exacty where we are at in each step. Getting my braces off today and I'm Sooo excited but so sad because I will miss seeing the staff every month. Also I know you aren't suppose to bring baby's to your visits or it's not suggested because you are laying flat but through my whole process they have made it so easy to bring her along with me and my niece *2 years old* even loves them all and always wants a new toothbrush . That's amazing . I love you guys all thank you sooooo much for giving me the perfect smile Definitely recommending to my sisters and everyone else that asked me about my new smile !

This is our 2nd opportunity to have another family member get braces. I'm so appreciative of the helpful and caring staff members. There is a welcoming atmosphere about the place. Dr. Han takes his time to review the procedures in a manner that is clear and never patronizing. The front office ladies go the extra mile to help us with any insurance issues that may arise and have been a pleasure to work with indeed! I have highly recommended this place to my friends and those who have taken my advice have thanked me for it!

I was recommended here by my mom. She said that he was an excellent dentist. I called and needed an appointment right away and they were able to accommodate me. The day of my appointment they helped me pretty quickly and I was in and outta there. He did a great job and was really gentle. I have recommended him to my step-mom and some of my friends looking for a good dentist.
