I love this place! Doctors and staff are great. They talk you through every detail the entire way, and they are just so nice.

After an unprofessional appointment set up, show up yesterday, the dental assistant comes to get me. No greeting says last room, tells me to sit , throws an X-ray vest on me, and I said, I'm here for a crown fitting, she proceeded to argue with me, and I went to remove the X-ray vest and she pushed it back down on my chest. Continued to tell me, I'm wrong and we are working on another tooth. I again went to get up , and she told me to sit back down. Then I said , please get the dentist. Her statement was, " I know what I'm doing". I asked her again to please get the dentist , she did. He came in and I was correct. The woman could barely assist the dentist. She kept giggling and apparently making mistakes. I felt Sorry for the dentist. He was professional as always. After he took my impression, she was left to put a temporary crown on my tooth. She literally stuck it on, and stuff went sliding down my throat. I started To gag. Never offered me a rinse, I had a tissue in my hand that the dentist had given me from the impression, and was able to lift my head to clear my mouth in the tissue. Then , she proceeded to stand next to me with a tool full of stuff, and was talking to herself, she couldn't remember what she was doing. Her words not mine. One minute later she said lay back and open, and all's I felt was this cold goo on opposite side of my mouth and it filled almost my entire one side and It started to drip down my throat, I quickly sat up, and stuck my finger in my throat and mouth and pulled out this goop. I was Gagging in my tissue. I asked What she was doing? Her response was , " sit back I know what I'm doing". I said You are on wrong side of my mouth. She said I'm taking a bite impression. I opened My mouth and she filled my entire lower mouth with the goo again, but so much that it was running down my throat and when she told me to close my mouth it oozed out the front. No tray!? I was A nervous wreck. She was talking to herself the entire time. She was saying out loud over and over , did I do ? Can't remember ! I was literally shaking. I was So nervous and scared she did something wrong. Then go to the front after I stood there for 10 min waiting for her to make an appointment , which she couldn't figure out. I walked out and went to the front, she followed behind, and she told the girl , she was having an issue making the appointment, because it was scheduled wrong in first place. Which it wouldn't of been, If when I called, , they could of waited 5 min to stop the conversation about their lunch plans and gossiping. I go Home and the novacaine subsided and the pain was so excruciating that my entire head , ear, nose and mouth was throbbing. Took two Advil and by 8 o'clock last night ,I was hysterical crying. Called the emergency number , no calls back. My son who is another state called and no calls back. I spent My night hysterical, in agony . Remembered I had a prescription from my eye surgery two months ago, with 20 stitches in each eye, and never needed a pain pill. They make me sick. I opened The bottle and took one. Two hours later I was still in agony. Took another. Pain subsided enough to stop crying. I am Calling my insurance company, I will not go back there , and I'd rather pay another dentist today than ever step foot in that place. The sad part is, that dentist is amazing. New owners, and it is like a circus in there. By 4 am I was vomiting from the pain meds. Nightmare. Feel sorry for the dentist. Now I'm spending my morning searching for a dentist that can help , cause the crown is so high and lifting. She didn't seal it or something and I have glue on front of my gums that I'm peeling ,and the tooth she crowned is in back. Stay away. This is not the place it use to be. If the dentist leaves I'll follow, but as long as that staff is in place, I'll never step foot in there. No professional, should touch a patient and push her back in her chair, tell her she is wrong, and almost choke me, not once but twice. Now I have a crown that feels like it's an inch

Was dreading getting fillings done due to a bad experience at a prior dentist. Totally smooth and painless here! Great professional staff!

I'm not sure if it's because they joined riccobenne and are being forced to churn out x amount of patients per hour, but the experience has gone from incredible to awful in the past six months. Staff are totally harried and frazzled(hygienists, front desk staff, and dentists), cleaning was the worst cleaning experience I've ever had- (took less than five min, held my mouth open with the suction tube, and didn't even do the back side of my teeth), no conversation from anyone (except one hygienist talking to another hygienist about me within earshot), lots of new staff, and poor dr. Frank looks like he hasn't slept in days. I was also rushed out after my cleaning and couldn't even get fluoride. I thought I would keep going to this dental office for the foreseeable future based on previous experience, but I felt like I was a machine cog in a rat race for money. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I actually had a cavity or tooth concern! Such a sad turn for this office.

We recently moved to the Hampstead area and probably like many others hadn't had the opportunity to visit a dentist due to CoVid restrictions in over a year. I wanted to have a cleaning and had been in need of crown work for some time. After reviewing the Google reviews of the local dentists (all seemed to rank very high), I chose Hampstead dental. On the initial visit I met with Robin who took X-rays and then went about a thorough measurement of my gums and dental records. After an hour had passed, I asked if I were still going to get my teeth cleaned. She said no and that she didn't have the time to do it. After she completed her measurements the Dr. came in. He and Robin discussed back and forth the information she had collected, a bit of it seeming like physician speak or code. Robin recommended that I have a deep clean instead of a regular cleaning. The doctor wanted to replace a current crown, which I considered having done, but after the following visits, I won't have that done here. So I went home without a cleaning and an appointment to return to begin work on the original crown that I was part of my reason for going in the first place. The experience was the usual except for all of the contraptions used now that are placed inside your mouth to keep it open and the suction devices continually running. There are no sinks where you rinse and spit. It's all cleaned up with suction. Anyway, my bad tooth was ground down and a temporary crown prepared for placement. Lexi fitted the temporary which always seemed a little higher than it should have been, but after four attempts to grind it down, I really just wanted to leave. The temporary was odd feeling, felt nothing like a tooth but something foreign and irregular. Lexi gave me all of the precautions and told me that should the temporary fall out, I could pick up some similar adhesive at WalMart and take care of it myself. Yes, I still went back. A month later, it was finally time to get my cleaning and permanent crown put in. The cleaning went as most cleanings do. But the crown? It started off well and that's where it declined. The doctor had to do some grinding to fit it between my other teeth. Once he got it in there, he had to grind the top of my new crown down because it sat to high. What's worse is that he also ground down my natural tooth above the crown ( there was nothing wrong with this tooth). The bottom of my tooth on top has been ground smooth and at an angle. My crown has had the top of it ground smooth. This feels so unnatural. They should probably stick to cleaning teeth only. I am really VERY disappointed. I wouldn't typically write such posts and would just avoid this business in the future, but I really don't want anyone else to ever experience this.

Dr. Schein extracted my tooth and although it was ugly, he somehow managed to keep it even keep; a tough job made easy.

Just moved here from Michigan and my dental practice over 25+ years. Very positive experiences: ease in getting initial appointment; skilled, concientious and friendly hygienist; comfortable office environment; fair pricing; Dr. Schein spent time answering all my questions.

Everything was completed in a very professional manner. The Dr.'s assistant was very competent and I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to all.
