Dr. Jodi grew up in a small town of 5000 in the southwest corner of Iowa. She was passionate about working with children from a young age. She started babysitting and volunteering her time with children from age 10.
She graduated from Creighton University in 2000. In 2004, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry. She spent the next thirteen years of her career treating only children and volunteering her time to under served community. Dr. Jodi has hospital privileges at North Suburban Surgery center and has been on the Medical Advisory Committee for the last 6 years. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry , American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Denver Metro Dental Society.
Dr Jodi values establishing long-term relationships with her patients and the community. She emphasizes education, quality care, and the importance of public service in her practices. She creates a fun and positive environment and tailors the care that she provides to each patient and their familys needs. She is compassionate and gentle and explains all all details related to the visit and the patients treatment goals.
Dr. Jodis mission for her practice is that it serves a higher purpose beyond just vision and dental. Her goal is that you will find a home at Youth Dentistry and Vision where you feel comfortable and safe and you know you are receiving the highest quality of care from a team that truly cares about you and your family.
Dr. Peterson grew up in Valley City, ND and completed his undergraduate work at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. He received a Bachelors in the Arts degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After college, Dr. Peterson attended the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA.
Upon completion of Optometry school, Dr. Peterson moved to Colorado Springs. He practiced there and in Montrose, CO for 8 years before joining the Youth Dental and Vision team in 2018. The part of the job he enjoys the most is the opportunity to work with a great group of people whose only concern is providing the best and most comprehensive care possible.

They treated my daughter with great compassion and happiness. I as a mother had a great understanding of the procedures and services. There was a gentleman who was bilingual and helped me out understanding the procedures as well. Thank you to all medical professionals for giving my daughter a great visit. She was happy to be there.

Overall great experience with Dr Jodi and her team! Procedure went well and actually better than another dental office we went to. They made the whole dental experience a positive one that my child will not be afraid to go back. Dr Jodi checked in and followed up later that day when we were home to check on my child. Something that other offices do not do. I will be sure to recommend this office to friends and family.

I enjoyed my visit with my kids. The staff and dentist made sure they were comfortable and stopped when my son needed a break. It didn't take too long and it was nice not too many people there early in the morning. We will be back!

I have a 15-yr granddaughter and a 6-yr grandson that are seen here. They take great care of both. Its a feel good environment and all the staff are informative to all of us. Including my 6 yr old. I appreciate all of them

I wanted to switch my son to a different dentist. He had been going to his previous one for several years and just overtime there services just became sub par. I chose Hampden because it's right around the corner from my house. And they take my sons insurance. When I called to make an appointment for my son at Hampden Youth, I got to speak directly to the owner of the company. She is fantastic! She was so friendly and so unbelievably helpful! she had her office personnel call the very next day to get an appointment set for my son. The building on the outside and the inside is absolutely stunning. The front office lady was extremely nice and made us feel welcome. My son does not like to go to the dentist at all ever! And he was very happy with his experience and very comfortable. The doctor that we saw, I believe her name was Kaitlyn was the sweetest person ever! She talk to my son directly which might not sound like a big deal but to me it was. He is the patient he needs to understand what's going on and what they're doing to him. And she told him every step that she was doing and asked him several times if he needed a break and if things were OK. Just a very welcoming atmosphere and wonderful staff! I very much will be keeping my son at this dentist and look forward to also checking out the vision clinic just down the road. I just want to say to all of the doctors and staff that we saw today, keep up the amazing work! We will definitely be back!! Tara & Austin

My 3 year old son loves it here. The staff is super friendly and professional. They make it so easy and they are extremely clean. It's right down the street and they always have us in and out. I so happy I found this place.

I was extremely nervous taking my child into the procedure and the staff reassured me that everything would go great. The time proximity was accurate and everyone was super friendly. No doubt that they value their patients. Doctor Jodi was great even messaged me to follow up with my son hours later from the appointment.

I've had nothing but excellent experiences at this office. I was assigned them by Medicaid and I'm very pleased that I was. The staff and Dr. Kait are queer and trans friendly which is hugely important to me in getting any kind of medical care. They are extremely kind with wonderful bedside manner and helped refer me to other services that I needed that they didn't provide. Highly recommend.

I was super nervous at the thought of putting my 4yr old daughter to sleep for dental work however when I tell you the whole establishment made it so easy and eased all my worries right away. This is the best dental office and experience me and my children have ever had!! The place was so clean and the staff were friendly and professional. I must give a major shout out to the anesthesiologist and Dr. Jodi!! I will recommend this place to all my friends with kids. Dr Jodi is everything and I really appreciate the follow up afterwards to make sure my baby girl was okay

Dr. Jody and her staff did an amazing job taking of care of my 4 year old granddaughter during her procedure. My granddaughter bounced back from recovery within hours. I will continue to take my granddaughters to Dr Jodi for any future procedures.

I'm very thankful for Dr. Jodi for making an experience that I was extremely nervous about so easy and so quick. Our daughter had a dental procedure done that was such an easy experience for her and for us. The office is very nice and clean and the staff was amazing as well.
