Dr. Rasha Hamouri received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2008 from Faculty of Dental Medicine of Monastir. In 2010, she attended the University of Florida, completing a one year post-grad Fellowship in endodontics. In 2012 she completed an internship in oral surgery at New York University College of Dentistry, and in 2018 she completed a post-grad in general dentistry program at Columbia University College of Dentistry New York.
Dr. Hamouri moved to the Yorktown area in 2018, where she had the honor to practice under the mentorship and guidance of Dr. Michael Bowler. There, she broadened her knowledge and skills in Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. Dr. Hamouri acquired Dr. Bowlers dental practice in 2019, continuing the philosophy of providing exceptional dental care for her patients and community.
Dr. Hamouri is dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care in a comfortable and friendly environment. She takes time to listen to her patients, get to know them, and understand their dental concerns. Her commitment to excellence is unsurpassed, always going that extra step to insure she is delivering the finest care possible. One of her greatest passions is helping her patients maintain a natural-looking and healthy smile that will last them for their lifetime.
Dr. Hamouri is a member of the American Dental Association and Virginia Dental Association. When not pursuing her passion in the practice, she enjoys time with her husband and their lively and adorable dog, Mish Mish. Dr. Hamouri speaks four languages, fluent in English, French, Arabic and Hebrew.

Our entire family absolutely loves Dr Hamouri. When my Dad, Dr Bowler, retired I was quite nervous .. however, she is simply wonderful! I feel extremely well taken care of and feel equally as comfortable as I always was with my Dad. We are beyond thankful and blessed to have Dr Hamouri in our lives and there to take care of us! Excellent dentist!!!

My first experience was 2 years ago and I had a assessed tooth while visiting family in Poquoson. It was late in the afternoon when I walked in and they made room and fitted me in...it was after closing by a hour or more when they finished. I now travel here for my dental work..3 hour drive.. that impressed I am with the quality of their work and service.

Dr. Hamouri is very attentive and kind. She responds to winces and grunts since I really can't communicate with hands and tools in my mouth. I liked Dr. Bowler, but he said my fillings needed to be replaced and never would schedule it. I had said let's do it, but he didn't. Dr. Hamouri gets it done. (The crown procedures have taken a LONG time though. I think the supply chain is still disrupted.)

I have been using this dentist office for over 40 years. Dr Hamouri has done a fantastic job after taking over the office when Dr Bowler retired. Dr Hamouri is very caring and professional. The entire staff is friendly and helpful in all ways possible. Highly recommend their services.

I just left their office because the receptionist was very rude. The original receptionist with light colored hair was taking care of checking me in and a woman with dark hair came over, took over and was very rude and demanding right from the start. I became their patient over 6 months ago and provided everything that was needed. She wanted my ID and I provided it, then she wanted my insurance cared that I emailed you over 6 months and I questioned it. She said someone didn't scan it in...so I provided it, then she wanted my SSN...(She doesn't need my SSN and I told her I'd find another dentist if she continued asking for my SSN). About 5 minutes later, she called me in an office and was rude again and appeared to start scolding me with an explanation. I'm almost 70 years old and I'm not going to have a receptionist scold me over their procedure and the fact they didn't scan in my insurance card that I provided over6 months ago. They must have a booming business, but she has successfully lost me as a patient, customer and now someone that would never give them a referral. This is disheartening, since my Primary Care Doctor recommended them to me. I'll make sure that my Primary Care Doctor knows that customer service isn't the best at their business anymore and will recommend that she does not give any referrals to any patients in the future, I know I won't ever give a referral to them. I submitted the above information to the Dentist office and I'm sure I will never get a response from them because the woman that was rude is probably the one reading the complaint I sent them and she would never tell her boss how she was.,,, Basically, I don't care how great the dentist is or how great their dental care is when they have "Terrible Customer Service"

At 62, I have been to the dentist more times than I can count. This is the first dentist that I have been to that so throughly explains the procedure they are about to do. They make you feel comfortable before they begin. I appreciate that more than anything else.

Ms Naveen did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. It's amazing how pleasant getting your teeth clean can be when you follow their instructions. I appreciate the lovely environment. Staff was courteous and professional. I even received a bag of dental goodies.

I started with this office when it was Dr Bowler's practice almost 10 years ago and the same outstanding professionalism has been continued (and even improved on) by Dr Hamouri and her staff. I've always been treated with respect and shown very prompt, courteous, and skilled service. They care about your general health, and of course the health of your teeth, and I know I'm in good hands for the long haul! Thanks!

I always get great and friendly service, I have been coming here for a few years. This time I had lost my Sleep Apnea appliance and my consultation went very well Dr Hamouri suggested a new program that will work very well for me. Looking forward to the end result of my program.

I have never been treated so badly by a medical office before. I went in at the end of February because I needed extensive work done. Dr. Tagg told me to give him a few days to come up with a plan for my teeth and he would call me back. After not hearing from the office for 3 weeks, I called back to be told he needed to speak to Dr. Hamouri and come up with a plan for my teeth. After calling back multiple times over the course of 2.5 months, even telling them I was in pain. I kept getting the run around. The office staff was very nice but this office as a whole has gone downhill since Dr. Bowler sold it. I ended up going with a different dentist/office and within 2 weeks they are fixing my teeth. I wouldn't have been so upset if they had just told me upfront he didn't want to work on me teeth but they left me hanging and in pain.
