Dr. Hammond has post graduate training in anesthesia, pain control, and implantology. He is also a fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesia and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry with a multitude of awards and honors, including the Pierre Fauchard Award and the Academy of Periodontology Award, among many others. She has over 28 years of dental experience.

Dr Hammond just took care of replacing a missing tooth. I am so thankful for the results. He and his staff are awesome. Thank you!

A thoughtful and very knowledgeable dentist. I have only had two experiences with Dr. Hammond, one of which is indelible in my heart. Two years ago, my mother had to go into the hospital for over a week or ten days and was awaiting her new bridge, after breaking her older one. After I communicated with his kind staff, Dr. Hammond personally hand delivered the bridge to me in the evening, at the hospital. I thought his attention to this matter showed he would go above and beyond the call of duty for his patients' needs. It meant so much to me. The second interaction I had was yesterday, as I am in town from Atlanta, and needed a cleaning desperately after waiting through months of the Covid19 situation. I also needed a professional look at a wisdom tooth that was creating an issue. Even as a new patient, they made an appointment within one day of my calling. The dental hygienist, Tammy, was very thorough, even going back to check and clean an area after she had polished my teeth. Dr. Hammond took his time in reviewing my next steps for the wisdom tooth extraction. And although he did say he could pull the tooth for me, he gave me good referrals for oral surgeons, and said I should choose which way I felt most comfortable to do it. No pressure at all. I would definitely recommend this practice. Parking was plentiful, easy and close to the entrance. They called me in my car (due to Covid) when they were ready for me, and came to door to escort me into their offices, which I found to be clean and nice.

Dr. Hammond yells at people,& he thinks it's ok, because he yells at everyone equally. After surgery, I was in Recovery; he came in and said, " Open your mouth." I said,"No, I am going to throw up. He repeated it, as did I . He sticks his finger in my mouth,& I throw up. That was the end of seeing Dr. Hammond., though it took me two years to pay him off.

Great Dentist, went in, in pain needing a root canal, left out of pain and root canal completed. Will be going back for all my dental needs!!!!

I have been very happy with all my dental procedures at Dr. Hammond's office, for the past 14 years. I feel very confident in his abilities and recommendations, and have referred others to him as well. The staff are friendly and professional as well.
