Dr. Ron Hammond, a graduate of Baylor University College of Dentistry (1968), served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps after college. In 1970, he opened his private practice in Tyler, Texas, and remains in practice today serving all of East Texas. Dr.Ron Hammond and his wife Rhonda have 4 grown kids and 16 grandkids and are active members at Flint Baptist Church. Dr. Ron Hammond has been chairman of the nominating committee for the last 12 years and his wife Rhonda is the director of the womens ministry
Leading with compassionate care, Dr. Hammond has enhanced his professional career by attending the L.D. Pankey Institute. He has received three continuums under Dr. Pete Dawson in St. Petersburg, Florida, and has attended three Restorative Practice seminars led by Alvin Fillastre D.D.S. in Lakeland, Florida. Dr. Hammond has completed the Texas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry. Amongst his peers, he is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and East Texas and Smith County Dental Society.
A graduate of Baylor University, and Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. John W. Hammond began practicing in Tyler, Texas, in June, 1995. He and his wife, Shannon have a son, Hudson, and a daughter, Jordan. The Hammonds are members of Green Acres Baptist Church.
Dr. John Hammond stays abreast of the latest dental technology. He has attended six sessions with Dallas Academy of General Dentistry, and has studied with the prestigious Dr. Peter Dawson in St. Petersburg, Florida. While occasionally working with dental specialists, Dr. John Hammond proudly completes most patient treatments in the Hammond Dental office.

Like always, the staff greeted me with a smile and was so nice to allow me to come back even though I was late. My teeth were cleaned with gentleness and professionally as usual without rushing me in and out. I always enjoy my personal time, getting my teeth cleaned by the same young lady and I can't even think of her name but I did get a chance to meet her twin on this visit Dr John Hammond examined my teeth and gums and the sun was out when I left.

Dr. Ron Hammond has been my dentist for around 30 years. He and his staff have always taken excellent care of me. I highly recommend this practice to my friends and it's the only dental office I've used where I actually look forward to the visit.
