Dr. Nathan Hammond began practicing dentistry in August of 2006. After attending Brigham Young University, Dr. Hammond attended the prestigious Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. He excelled at Creighton and earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.).
After graduating from Creighton, Dr. Hammond continues to learn and improve his techniques. Not only is he proficient in the basics of dentistry, but he is also very skilled in implant restoration. He regularly treats complex and simple implant cases and makes many implant-retained dentures.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Dr. Hammond is the son of a general and vascular surgeon. He is one of five children, all of whom are in medical or dental professions. He and his wife, Brittany, who is actively involved in the practice, have four children of their own and are both committed to their community outside the practice as well. He spent almost two years in Nashville, Tennessee, as a singer and songwriter before his dental career began. Also, for two years he served the people of Brazil as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Today, he is still fluent in Portuguese and is an avid golfer, guitar player and sports lover. Dr. Hammond coaches his sons sports teams, is active in his church and loves spending time with his family.
Stephanie has brought her bright personality and compassion to the office since 2015 as she works to understand our patients needs. She appreciates that her co-workers and Dr. Hammond make the office such an enjoyable place to come to every day. Stephanie has a boyfriend, four children and a puppy. Outside of the office, she loves the lake, boating, camping, crafting, home projects and visiting new places.
Candy has been in the customer service and reception industry for over 20 years and has been with us since 2015. She enjoys helping those around her and working with a team that shares the same goals and desires regarding whats best for the patients and practice. Candy is dependable, efficient, compassionate and friendly in all she does, and she tries to make the needs of our patients a priority. Candys been married for over 25 years and has 5 amazing kids.
After graduating hygiene school in 2012, Sara has been working with us. She makes patients her priority and does everything she can to help each person feel comfortable. Outside of the practice, she has three dogs and enjoys fishing and camping.
Lauren has been with our office since 2015 but has been a hygienist for over 20 years. Shes also laser certified! Lauren and our team treat everyone like family. She specializes in gentle, thorough cleanings and aspires to meet each individuals dental and emotional needs as they visit us. She moved to Arizona seven years ago to be with her mom and has a horse that she trains and rides.
Michelle has been a part of our team since 2017 and has been in the dental field for over 15 years! She graduated from Phoenix Colleges dental hygiene program, and her goal is to ensure that her patients have a relaxing and enjoyable dental experience while also providing them with information about oral hygiene education. Michelle likes how everyone works together as a team. Shes married and has two dogs (pit bulls) that are brother and sister. Michelle loves going to the beach in San Diego and to the movies.
Ashlyn has been a certified dental assistant since 2006 and has been with Nathan Hammond since 2014. She loves how we all help each other as a team and maintain a friendly manner that keeps patients coming back. We all work to keep the schedule flowing and get patients in on time. Ashlyn married in 2011 and has two kids. She also enjoys DIY home projects.
Nadine joined our office in 2018 but has been a dental assistant for over 20 years. She enjoys working with a team of people who are passionate about providing quality dental care to our local residents. She starts each day with a positive attitude and works to make our patients dental experiences positive ones. Nadines been married for over 25 years and has two children. Her hobbies include biking, hiking and home improvement projects.

Been a patient for over 7 years....nothing but the best all around... Dr. Hammond and Staff all give you their full attention and resolve all issues....in addition to be pro-active to upcoming issues....PLUS it is a blessed atmosphere...recommend them highly. Dental hygienists make sure they watch any issues in your dental history and keep them in line.

Dr. Hammond is a wonderful, caring dentist with an in-house lab. He can provide next day crowns that are an excellent fit and color match. His team of dental hygienists are are also great and get your teeth super clean. Also great...if you need dental surgery, his brother is right next door!

hammond dental care was the best! I was seen ASAP as a new patient in pain and the Doctor was super caring and nice. the Hygienist was also very friendly and capable of getting me numbed up for the dentist after my cleaning so it was a seamless visit with no waiting at all. i consider them my forever dentistry now.

Dr Hammond and his staff on Bell Road in Surprise are so good that only a "5 Star" review is possible. My wife and I feel confident with our preventative and corrective service provided by Dr Hammond and his staff. We have never had a problem with access or the quality of the work performed. If that should ever happen, we would feel comfortable talking with Dr Hammond to resolve the situation.

The practice provides very professional service and has an exceptional staff. Dr. Hammond provides excellent care, and we would recommend this office without reservation. We had previously been patients of a number of dentists in the West Valley area, and Dr. Hammond is by far the best. We're extremely happy that we found this office, and look forward to continuing to visit this office.
