Dr. Chris Hammond is a graduate of Brigham Young University and the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with the highest honors while receiving a doctorate of medical dentistry. He has lectured on both the local and national levels including the Yankee Dental Congress in Boston Massachusetts. Dr. Hammond has been a featured author in Dental Practice and Finance, and his practice has been highlighted in many of the leading dental publications including Dental Economics, Dentistry Today, The Dental Success Newsletter, Dental Practice Report, and The Independent Dentist. He also is a graduate of the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, one of the worlds most prestigious cosmetic dental education programs, and has served as a Clinical Research Associates evaluator of new dental products since 1996. In 2003, cosmetic dentist Dr. Hammond became a clinical instructor with the well-known Hornbrook Group, a group of leading-edge cosmetic dentists whotravel the country teaching cosmetic dentistry to other dentists.
Dr. Hammond is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, California Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Utah Dental Association, and the Crown Council, where he is a lifetime qualified member.
Dr. Harris received his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University before attending the University of Texas Health at San Antonio School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors in his Doctorate in Dental Surgery program. He has received both clinical and volunteer awards including the American College of Prosthodontics Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement, UT Health San Antonio Comprehensive Dental, and Presidential Volunteer Service Awards. His professional associations include the American and Utah Dental Associations and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Harris brings a unique expertise to our practice including his experience with the most up to date technologies in dentistry. He has training in intraoral scanning and crown design for restorative and implant dentistry, implant placement including surgical guide design and printing, surgical and non-surgical extractions, root canal therapy, pre-prosthetic surgery, functional and esthetic crown lengthening, and esthetic crowns and veneers. He is also a certified Invisalign provider.
As a third-generation dentist, dentistry has always been a major part of my life. My grandfather (general dentist) and my father (oral surgeon) showed me what it meant to serve others and sacrifice for those in our community.
