Tami is an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) and has been working in the dental field since 1996. She began working in our office in 2000, and besides assisting, her duties include managing supplies and overseeing laboratory cases.
Laccie began her career in dentistry in 2008 while living in northern Virginia. Her family moved to Kentucky in 2013 and she obtained her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification at the University of Kentucky in 2015. She has been with our office since May 2017.
In this world of digital technology, it seems that a lot of our knowledge today will be outdated tomorrow. Dr. Hammer, Dr. Van Zant, and our staff are constantly attending educational classes, seminars, and webinars to keep up on the rapidly changing technologies. Hammer and Van Zant have associate fellowships in the World Clinical Laser Institute Both Drs. Hammer and Van Zant have taken Invisalign Clear Essentials Training Both Drs. Hammer and Van Zant have 3M ESPE Espertise MDI (mini dental Implant) Certification Tami Noble and Laccie Johnson have been to CEREC training at the CERECTraining Center in Alpharetta, GA Our staff has had in office training for the CEREC Same-Day Crowns Dr. Hammer, Dr. Van Zant, all of our hygienists, and our EDDAs have had Dexis Digital Imaging Certification training Drs. Hammer and Van Zant are both members of the American Dental Association (ADA), The Kentucky Dental Association (KDA), and the Louisville Dental Society (LDS)
