Raised in an Army family, Dr. Howard lived in a number of places around the country before settling down in Florida in 2000. Central Florida is where she and her husband have chosen to raise their two girls and they absolutely love it!
Dr. Howard attended Florida State University and graduated in 2006 with a B.A. in human sciences, graduating magna cum laude. She continued on with her education at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2010. Upon graduation, Dr. Howard practiced general dentistry for several years and realized during this time that her strength and contentment revolved around working with children and families. She decided to advance her education and returned to N.S.U. in 2014 to begin her journey towards becoming a pediatric dental specialist.
Dr. Howard successfully completed the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry certification process in 2017. She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She also holds hospital privileges at AdventHealth Orlando and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

My husband and I are so grateful to Dr. Howard and her amazing staff! Our daughter came into this office with significant issues beyond our control. In a matter of months, Dr. Howard was able to make a 180 and changed her life (and ours) for the better. The office is also so beautifully decorated; facility clean and bright. We especially appreciate all the love and care Dr. H and her team put into making our child's experience as comfortable as possible. Thank You, Hamlin Pediatric Dentistry! You guys are the best of the best

Incredible pediatric dentistry. From the lady at reception to the assistants and doctor. It was my youngest's first time at the dentist and he didn't even flinch due to the amazing care given from the ladies. I can't recommend this practice enough. Thank you for a great experience that can sometimes be quite scary and overwhelming for the kiddies.

Dr. Howard and her team are amazing, very kind and knowledgeable. I didn't know what to expect as it was my daughter's first visit to the dentist, but it was much better than I anticipated. We will continue to go back to Dr. for all future appointments and I would highly recommend this place for family and friends.

With so many kids dental offices in the area what's really going to set one apart from another is the care and attention they put on a child. This place is not it. From the lady in the front desk that was cold and non caring- looks at you up and down when your speaking and is condescending when she is speaking to you ...to the assistant and Dr. That are just blah.. I get it if it's an adult that your helping but when you work with a 4 yo that is nervous maybe small talk or saying something funny or giving heads up on what's next so they feel more comfortable... maybe. I am not a dentist but I do know a little bit about running a business and the way you gain, retain and grow as a business is all about the people you have working in it. If this is not the ideal line of work and if this is just a job for you - might consider looking for something that will inspire you and make you happy so your not making others specially children unhappy.

All of the staff were extremely hospitable and caring. The brand new office looks gorgeous! I feel safe bringing my daughter there and trust them to care for all of her needs. I am grateful to have found a great dentist right down the road from my new home that is in network with my insurance.

The staff here are SO kind and patient! My daughter was nervous for her first trip to the dentist, but she left with a big smile on her face. They really take the time to make sure they have a fun experience and are excited to come back. Can't praise them enough. Highly recommend

My daughter had the best experience at this dentist office. The entire staff from receptionist at the front to the dentist and her assistant were a great help in calming my daughters and treating her with such great care.This will definitely be the only choice for my family in the future.

Our experience at Hamlin Pediatric Dentistry was great! The office staff are very nice and the hygienists explained everything they were doing with my kids. They also taught them the proper ways of brushing and why it is important to do it in this way. Dr. Howard was very gentle and patient and answered all of my children's questions. By far the best experience we have had at a dentist appointment.

The dentist and office staff here are wonderful. They are kind, caring and take the time to answer all of my questions. His last dentist at Hamlin Groves refused to see him due to his dental anxiety and Hamlin Pediatrics stepped in and helped him. Highly Recommend!

Hamlin Pediatric Dentistry did great with my son. He was having tooth pain, and they were able to get him in on the same day. The office is very clean and state of the art. The dentist and staff were very kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place.

Had my toddler's first ever dentist appointment here and could not be happier with this office. They were very patient, explained everything thoroughly and the Dr took her time speaking with us as well. They made it a fun and easy experience for my daughter as she got her teeth checked. We will continue to go back to Dr for all future appts.

My daughter had really bad anxiety and the staff was wonderful at getting her to relax and feel comfortable. She said she enjoyed getting her teeth cleaned and really liked everyone. She's excited for her next appointment. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile! The staff at Hamlin Pediatric Dentistry are very kind and helpful. It was my son's first dentist visit, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Howard was amazing! She took the time to talk with us and made us, especially my 2 year old, feel at ease. We left with smiles! I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Howard and her team are great! My 6 & 3 year old love going to the dentist. We had our second cleaning visit with them today My 3 year old did not have a good first dentist experience at the prior practice we went to. I let Dr. Howard know on our first visit and she made her feel so comfortable and showed her the tools she'd be using and what she would do with them. I'm very thankful we found Dr. Howard.

I was there this week with my son(7 years). My son was really afraid of the dentist for the first time. He never had a problem before. We decided not to stay because he didn't want to stay. The doctor said to make a.new appointment in 2 weeks but we know our son so we schedule for this Monday. The receptionist called me because she spoke with the dentist and Dr. Howard wants to see my son in 2 weeks only and I explained that we spoke with my son and he was feeling better to see the dentist on Monday, what I explained to the receptionist, but the dentist didn't want to see my son with other kids in the office afraid of him to behave again. They are kids and should be treated better. I want to go when my son feels better not when the dentist wants! My son doesn't need to be in an office alone "to not scare" other kids. Not the best experience!
